Sad story here:

My Great Grandmother lived in Hungary.

She was pregnant with my Grandmother when she got married. The Great Grandmother blamed my Grandmother her whole life because she was not allowed to wear white on her wedding day. She never really treated her like a daughter.

Is that backward thinking, or what?

Thank goodness we are more civilized now days.

Most guests at a wedding now days don't even concern themselves as to weather or not the couple had sex before marriage.

Wear white and glory in your very special day!

Yes, as an American Citizen, I was entitled wear anything I chose.

I wore a pure white gauze peasant dress at my first wedding, and an ivory lace dress at my second.

What a person wears to their wedding, is their choise. even if it's a first , second or third, Shouldn't make a difference to anyone , and especially to some one who supposedly cared enough to go to the wedding in the first place. As long as your not paying the bills, in the final analysis, what difference does it make??

I was married four times. The answer was no to the first one, so . . . But that's OK. I didn't have the money for a wedding in a church and a gown and all that, anyway. We eloped.

I can wear whatever color I want. Chinese brides wear red, not white, by the way. Not all cultures wear white.

The idea that the color of your wedding dress reveals your sexual history is kind of creepy. We should abandon that whole notion.
