As others have said if it's a Catholic ceremony with mass it will be rather long 60 to 90 minutes. But if it's a regular ceremony then it will be 30 to 60 minutes.

Wedding lengths vary a lot. Did they rehearse more than once? Were all the songs, readings and everything else included in the rehearsal? If yes to those questions, the wedding will be shorter. I have never been to one that was longer than an hour and most are shorter, but they can be as long as someone wants. If they have a lot of attendants and songs, it can last a really long time.

It shouldn't last that long. In fact, that was a very long rehersal. I would guess either people were goofing off, or maybe they weren't sure exactly what they wanted to happen at the wedding. Typically, a ceremony is about 20 minutes, but can last longer, if there are a lot of songs, readings, additions to the ceremony, like a unity candle, or a mass. Hang in there! Good luck!

well, you should be at the church at least 20 minutes before it is suppose to start. then weddings usually do not start on time, something is always going wrong. but unless the wedding is a Catholic wedding, it should not be more than 30 minutes long. the longest one i have ever been to was 45 minutes long, but a few have been under 20.

If the ceremony starts at one... it will probably go until 1:30 or 2pm. Typically there are a couple hours in between to take photos. Say the ceremony starts at 5pm, dinner will probably be at 6pm-7pm. Toasts, the special dances, then the regular dances... will probably go until around 11pm.
