My partner, Mandy and I commute about 16 miles each way to work on a daily basis. The glitch is that I don’t have a car and there is no public transportation to get there. Rarely, I’ll be able to get a ride with her, but it will be hard as we might have different schedule. So, I ride a road bicycle and that’s 32 miles round trip.
I’ll get worn-out if I eat a junk-food diet. The rare occasion that I eat candy is during my periods, to get some simple carbohydrates to boost my energy.

It is healthy to ride your bike everyday. Yeah, but you'll progress further if you schedule in some rest. Think of rest as a workout. Is it healthy to eat junk food everyday!?
Your question is actually a philisophical one! Some people eat to ride and some people ride to eat. It's like the t-shirt, "I eat therefore I ride!"
Burgers + Fries = Ride your Buttocks off!
I'm guessing the guy from the movie _Supersize Me_ would have fared better if he did ride everyday.
Yes, it is possible to do so. I did it for many years. The bad thing is that eventually your metabolism slows down and you can't do the things you used to do when you were younger.
Is it healthy? Nah!
Make sure you get a regular check on cholesterol cuz junk food does no good for cholesterol, but some people are affected a lot and yet others are hardly affected by it. Bon Chance!

Well, first off, you are not going to lose much riding a bike everyday for only a mile or two. I go twenty five 6 days a week and am on a 1200 calorie diet, and I lose about 4 lbs a week. 10 lbs a week is a bit excessive, and close to being dangerous. What can you do? Well, I don't want to discourage you from biking. It is a lot better on the joints than running or jogging. Try to put a few more miles in every day. 5-6. Thats really not to much if you aren't going up steep inclines. You said something about not to tell you to not eat "crap". Well, are you eating "crap"? If you are, you may not want to eat as much. I'm not saying stop eating it completely, just eat it in moderation. Try to keep track of how much you eat. Do you know how many calories you're taking in? I'd try to keep it between 1200-and 15 hundred a day. Well, good luck, and I hope yo find success.

It's healthy to ride your bike but it's not healthy to eat junk food. Just because you ride your bike doesn't mean you can eat junk. When you mix diet and exercise, 70% of the concentration should be on diet. You'd be a cyclist with nice legs and a big ol' gut. What's the point?

It's healthy to ride your bike. It's not healthy to eat junk food. If you have to string these together, and based on your question I think you are inferring the person has eaten junk food in the past and continues to eat junk food, but has recently starting riding their bicycle every day ... this practice is a healthy addition to their eating junk food and not riding their bike.

Your performance would improve/increase if you gradually backed off the junk food and took a day or two of rest per week. I find that my taste for junk food has diminished the more I ride. Watermelon, yogurt with fruit, club soda with a dash of lemonade are what I crave after a ride. Of course it's hot where I live in the summer so only Fritos or ice cream sound good for junk food.

Riding (a lot: hours per day!) can help counteract the excess calories in junk food, and to some extent counteract the ill effects of high fat content, but you still have to get the right balance of micronutrients.
