Depends in part on the age of the child. I live in PA and worked in a school affiliated program and we charged $3.00 an hour.

If you are having difficulty paying for day care, look into subsidized day care. Day care is often subsidized for lower income parents. Call your social service agencies to see if this is a possibility for you. And if your child is between 3 and 5, don't over-look Head Start. They often have excellent programs. They do use income guidelines but often accept over-income families for a variety of reasons.

Most range from 5-10$ a day depending on how old.

hi it also depends on the age of the child some charge less after teh child is about 2 years old, hey check on craiglist there are lots of cheap and good childcare,.some are retired teachers that do childcare.
