i work my abs w 4 sets of cable crunches doing 20 reps at 90, 100, 120, 145 lbs...i also do knees to chest 40 reps x 3... and 60 sit ups

Don't drink the six pack. I just watched an instructor on
my local tv channel. Every morning he answers questions
about such things. One was about your question. He said, if
there is any fat on the belly you can't have a flat tummy. That you must first get rid of the fat. He said, to diet along with the
work out. It sounds as if you are doing the work out faithfully,so maybe you need to diet just a bit to see better
results.

It sounds like what you are doing will work, but you will need dietary changes as well.

As for me, I prefer the beer gut.

I agree with Micah. You HAVE to diet and lose the fat. You can exercise all you want to and build up all kinds of muscle....under the fat.
