Being a Stormchaser and one of the first in New Orleans. Bush Jr did the best he could. If anything for the repsonse was The Governor of Lousiana forget that B***h's name. And, if it was not for the people at the water planet which forgot to close the valves the city's streets would not have been heavily flooded.
Anyone's fault for Katrina it would be the city of New Orleans and they had several warnings. And, the state of Lousiana. Bush Jr did an excellent job of handling Katrina.
For one that was his best achievement in the White House.

I just wish people would do some research in the highest and lowest temperatures. They would find out that in the early 1940's 39 degrees F above was measured in Alaska in January and just a few years later it was 53 degrees below.
Same again with the Dustbowl in 1929, where were the SUVs that are blamed for now, they didn't exist then!
Sure this summer is hot again, like every summer, 27 years ago I was in the Southwest and had to put up with 121 degrees Fahrenheit, so this year it got hot there too but not that hot. Obviously Global Warming isn't really happening this year. Could Bush be blamed for this? Sure, just wait and see what the left-wing conspirators come up with, they might perhaps say: George Bush turned the temperature down just to make Al Gore look like a complete idiot with his Global Warming scare tactics.

I'm sorry, but Bush ISN'T powerful enough to cause a hurricane, of ANY proportions. And Gore isn't able to cause global warming, either. He's just making it out to be all 'our' fault, and isn't taking into consideration all the natural events that cause it. I don't doubt that man is causing SOME of it, but nowhere near all of it. We can reduce what we take from the earth, however, and invent new products we can make rather than take and deplete.
No, I'm not a leftist liberal conspiracy theorist. I'm also not a right wing over the edge conservative, either.

Wow. Just what do you think the meaning of the word "cause" is? Bush did not cause Katrina, he simply did not respond to it like a competent executive in any field would. And Al Gore does not cause global warming, he is simply trying to alert the world to the need to cut down emissions of greenhouse gasses so this nice planet does not end up like Venus, with us all cooked. Please look up the definition of "cause". Thank you.

We are all to blame for whatever that is causing global warming. We are the ones who rule the earth. So to blame Bush and Gore is totally irrelevant

You really ought to think your questions through before you post them. First of all the power and extensive damage that Katrina caused WAS because of Global Climat Change. The incremental rise of water temperatures in the Atlantic and Carribean were the reason why Katrina was as destructive as it was. http://www.eumetsat.int/groups/public/documents/image/jpg_katrina_050828_1700_med.jpg

But the carbon problem has been building up since... well the industrial revolution, but with a particular acceleration since WWII. I guess since the Bush Faimly has served three terms during the worst years of acceleration at the helm of the most industrialized country of the world, they actually are more at blame then most for causing Global Warming, but hey... who's pointing fingers? After all it is mankind that is to blame because of our collective actions, not the individual! As for Gore, I don't see how the actions of any 1 person could be blamed, and surely not the actions of one person who is motivating so many others to act differently in a positive direction. If you have a problem with the ideas being put forth by the worlds leading scientists, then spend all your money by leaving lights on, leaving 5 vehicles running 24/7 in your driveway, knock your self out... but, unless you can convince a lot of other people to follow your example then you really wouldn't be contributing that much more to global warming, just burning a hole in your wallet, Good luck with that because the world is moving on from living in stupidity, but obviously there will be some that will keep their heads placed firmly up their ***es.
