Respect and love are completely separate. I have a lot of respect for men I would not consider dating. I have also loved a man that I lost respect for. It happens.

you cant love without respect . respect is part of love at least in healthy love.
You can stop liking someone you once loved. but still be in love with them to the point where it hurts like hell but you cant leave.

Yes. I respect this woman I know. She is very active. However her legs started to go really bad. She is now stuck in a wheel chair. I thought it would break her. But she rose to the occasion. She spends required time lying down with legs elevated, and the rest doing just as she used to. I don't know her well enough to love her, but I respect her like crazy.

You seemed to have confused the two things...you dont have to love someone you respect them but you should respect the one you love....

Respect is said to be "earned" through trust
First you would have to ask yourself do you trust this person ?
You don't have to love someone to trust them, and most people love people they don't trust any way lol
I would say yes
You can respect and even admire the person even if you don't love them.

Yes, you can love some one. You can respect someone. You can be IN love with some one. Are you asking can you respect someone and not love them??? Yes you can. I don't think, you can not respect ,someone you love, but you can't love someone you don't respect. This is a tongue twister.

i think so. you don't have to love the person, but you can still respect that they are human beings that will mess up sometimes, but may still be absolutely brilliant in other areas of their lives. if you can find good things in a person, than you can respect them...even if you don't want to.

Why not respect is not only about love. you respect someone but you can choose you love someone or not.( for Exemple let say your boss or your teachers or anyone you don't have to love them but you will have to respect them)
