Any suggestions for reading, math, homework, english, bulletin boards?

Ask the kids! That way you'll be focusing on sports that interest them. If it's material of their own choosing they're more likely to respond to it. See what sports they like, and ask questions like "If you get an A+ on a paper, should we call it a home run, or a touch down?" I bet they'll work hard to see their name up on the "scoreboard". What a great idea this is!

Math: if a basket is worth 2 points, and the team scores three baskets, how many points do they have?

World Cup, Teamwork, Goal!, Strike, Home run,
touch down!, print out all these footballs, soccerballs, baceballs, ect... and have the kids pick out their favoite and write their name on it and then hand it up.
