Go answer another question in GLBT, then look at the bottom of the screen and you will see a box with more questions. This box has questions from all of the Society & Culture section. That's where you are getting off track, is by clicking one of those questions. Instead, scroll a little further down for more questions from the same category.

WOW. Thats bazaar - because I start answering in R&S, and unknowingly end up
in the gay section, where quite frankly I do not want to be. The system just dumps you into the other section -
I found myself answering a question thinking the person was terribly arrogant to ask such a vile thing in a religious forum, only to realize its the gay forum I was in;
I have no idea what bright yale scholar decided THAT was a good idea. If ever two sections DO NOT WORK TOGETHER, it would be these two. I often
wonder if they don't do it on purpose?
Who knows......

For the same reason I start out in R&S and sometimes end up in GLBT. Yahoo has this silly box that mixes up all the q's in S&C. I guess we'll just have to look at the q's more carefully.

I, too, have noticed that when I answer sometimes in one category, I suddenly find my answer in another one. I thought that questions that are POSED in one category should then show up ONLY in that category. So I an wondering too -- just HOW do such crossovers occur, whenever that happens?
*****Perhaps someone from the Yahoo!Answers staff could enlighten us on this.*****
And -- is there any way that a responder can PREVENT such a crossover from happening?
After all, when we are ASKING a question, we can only choose ONE category for it to appear in. Unless we want to ask the same question more than once, in multiple categories.
