Because their clerics are the ones pushing for terrorism. They enjoy the feeling of power from causing the heart ache of others. Ideas straight out of Hell.

My apologise in advance for the long answer.

Some do condemn it, but the noise that comes out from a riot is loader than those that comes out of a peaceful march. Think about it, Please.

Whoever kills an innocent soul.. it is as if he killed the whole of mankind, And whoever saves one, it is as if he saved the whole of mankind” [The Quran, 5:32]
The big question is who is to be consider an innocent soul!!! When the non muslims are considered nijis, meaning dirty, and infidels! then who is that person who is innocent soul!! is it just the Muslim soul, or any soul!!

We all have seen the riots and the damage caused by the cartoon, but how many of us do see the Muslims condemn the terrorist acts. Not much. Because they don't scream load enough, and those who do scream and try to them, are condemend themselves, and deemed to be against Islam and the Prophet.

It is only a matter of how each person perceive that act to be a terrorism or not. To those individuals they are not terrorist, they are striving for their faith and their religion. How are they suppose to lash against those acts, if they don't see it as a crime but as a duty to their religion?! Those same people who carry out those acts do it against each others, even the Muslims themselves if they are deemed to be against them. See what is going on between the Sunnis and Shias, the Turks and the Kurds, the Muslims in Pakistan and the Taliban!! They are victimizing each others, and many innocent are dying. Why would you be so surprise when those same Muslims do kill non Muslims if they are killing one another!
It is because to them they are not terrorist, but striving for their faith, and those who trying to speak out, are being accused to be against their religion and hence silenced or imprisoned. so sad for all of us. Us meaning the Muslims and Non Muslims, for we are not alone and we should try to live together as one family with each have their own identity.

Muslim communities have been condemning terrorism since 9-11 loud and clear. Those non-Muslims who say we aren't vocal in our condemnation obviously don't believe that the media has been silencing our voices continuously. Are we supposed to make the media hear what we say?

They will continue to view Islam as a violent faith which promotes terrorism, no matter what we say or do. We should just go on sincerely living our faith and be the best believing Muslims humanly possible and stop being concerned about what they think of Islam and Muslims. We will always say what they need and should hear, not what they want to hear.

Because they don't want to promote it.

In the UK the main Muslim speakers, of the mosques condemmed the recent attempts. They then flew the Union Jack over Birmingham central Mosque for a day to show how they felt.

They can't say no or it goes against there religion. Many "moderate" Muslims are not even moderate and are as nutty as Christian fundamentalists.

To start of with I have studied the Muslim faith and have contemplated converting and one thing I know for sure is that the Muslim faith is extremely peaceful and respectful to those of a different faith. For a Muslim the topic of terrorism is not something to be proud of and most will keep quiet about it because they feel ashamed and shocked at what their people are doing "for the sake of Allah". Also like every religion there are a number of fanatic/extremists who take their interpretation of the religion or something in the Koran and totally corrupt it to their liking. The terrorist attacks are not in their name (Muslims) because MOST Muslims do not agree on what is going on. To explain even more in the Koran it is said that taking your own life is a sin, so just because you are dying in the name of God does not make it "Okay" in his eyes. For example in most monotheistic religion tattooing is prohibited right? Yet people who claim to be religious tattoo themselves with religious icons and still that does not make tattoo right in their religion.

Its all the MEDIA!

The Western Media has caused the west to believe in their point of view, and only giving one side of the story blinds the people viewing: that is almost everybody. The Media has forced its viewers to believe that Islam is a violent, bloody, intolerant religion, but in reality this is actually the opposite. If people would stop accepting their television sets as their teachers, more people would know the actual truth about Islam. The Media reports misleading stories, gross exaggerations, inaccurate information, and false statements about Islams and Muslims to undermine the religion, and unfortunately, this propaganda is a success--many many Americans believe everything they hear on the news or read in the newspaper. What they fail to realize is that what they read/hear is only one point of view of a bias Media that has been criticizing Muslims with false information vigorously since 9/11.

Terrorism is CONDEMNED in Islam; it is not allowed. Neither is innocent murder, or forced conversions. These are all misleading fabrications composed by the Media. You can't always believe what you hear.

Terrorists are not true Muslims; they use Islam as a mask to cover up their dirty work, and give Islam a bad name. It is not fair for the majority of Muslims, who oppose terrorism and denounce violence that is occurring. Unfortunately, the Media will never let this be known, making it look like Muslims support these radical actions, when in reality they absolutely do not.

Please refer to the following video. It is very true, and will provide valuable insight; I strongly recommend watching it:

Lmao Mimi, you got your info from "TV", the worst source when it comes to the truth. The TV is NOT your teacher, so stop adopting it as so.

We are not quiet about it, you are just deaf to hear it. The Muslim council of Britain clearly condemned it this week and had in the past also. Do you want us to carry banners where ever we go in our daily business? To school? To work? Taking our children to school? Sitting on buses? Eating out? Maybe we should have t shirts printed and it be made law to wear them where ever we go. Would you hear it then?
We are not quiet about it, who says we are? You? Well your obviously a great point of reference aren't you? Not!

EDIT
There have been protests in the streets and we have been very vocal about terror but CNN is not exaclty quick to cover it are they. Just because you have never seen footage of it does not mean it didnt or does not happen.

The ones that support terrorism don't want to support it, otherwise they'll be arrested...

I strongly suspect that many devout Muslims are quiet about terrorism that has 'hijacked their religion' because they themselves are in fear of retaliation from the terrorists and those people who agree with them.

I don't envy them, either.
