No rose water, no OTC chemical eye treatments for humans should ever be used on any pets. The only OTC treatment that I have had a vet recommend is the plain old saline solutions for contact lenses. This is a very mild salt water solution with the same combination level that is in humans eyes as well as animal eyes. You gently let the saline solution dribble through the eyes and let it run the discharge out of the eye then rub very gently under the eye, never over the eye to remove the discharge that has flowed out of the eye off of the fur so that it does not dry and cause more irritation. If the discharge is yellow, or pussy looking you should take the cat to the vet immediately, as this could be an infection or a sign of respiratory ailment that the more obvious signs have not been obvious to you yet. If the rinse does not clear things up in the first day, then take your cat to the vet immediately. Sometimes a cat will get sleep or a bit of fur in its eye causing an irritation that you can help resolve. If the eye appears scratched or if the discharge is of a large amount then do not try to clean the eye yourself, take the cat to the vets. Colds, and other respiratory ailments, as well as eye infections that can manifest themselves by discharge from they eyes. If you are not an experienced (and I do mean an experienced cat owner) caregiver, then do not try to handle any situation like this with out consulting a vet by a visit or by a phone call. Good luck with your cat. Hope the eye is cleared up soon.

I have no idea about rose water, but I've had cats all my life and treated tons of kitty eye infections- a lot of them will clear right up with a warm tea-bag compress held against the eye twice a day for 5 minutes. I use the regular ol' cheap tea bags and it works great for most eye infections

Go to the pharmacy and get some Tobrex drops. Use that for a week, 3 times per day on the kitten's eys. I don't know about rose water, but some lukewarm chamomile infusion may be good too.

Yes that will work. Another remedy is to pop your cats eyes out with a spoon, then wash them in a mild detergent soap, then re-install.

If his eye errodes after you do that, then you know it wasn't safe. I would NEVER put something in/on my animals without checking with my vet. If your cat doesn't have a vet, then you don't deserve to have animals!
