If it's the same as in XP, then you have to go to Windows' fonts menu and click File → Install New Font.

I'm not in Vista at the moment, but I think the old method still applies.

Go to the Control Panel and open Fonts. If you click File, there is an option to install a new font. If you click the Help button in the Control Panel, you will see an option to add a font.

I can't say about vista but in win xp open the controle panel & double click font folder from drop down menu choose add font, browse to the folder where you have downloaded the font. click ok first window will check for fonts and that will be added to your font folder.

In Windows XP: Click on the Control Panel icon. In the Control Panel
click on Fonts icon. Select add fonts. In some cases you may need to also
add the fonts specifically to the programs you are using.And slect the way to your font.

in Windows XP, I go to control panel then open the "Appearance and Themes" then on the left pane, you can see "Fonts" then just add or paste your new font there. I think you can do the same thing with Vista, they just differ from their environment.
