I was in the same situation once, the job i had was part time pay for full time work, and more money was going out to bills than was comin in from work, i always use to think of how i could get more money like the lottery, selling my stuff i even tried to get a 2nd job to no prevail, but the one thing i always did was trust in the lord, trust in him to provide for you, the next thing i know i was offered a job that paid more with less work, now i have 2 jobs and no need to worry bout money, the point i'm trying to make is to keep faith that the lord will come through, he always does, maybe he's just testing you to see if you will stay faithful to him as he has to us, to see if you will do something bad or illegal just for more money. Keep your faith and it will pay off.

God did not give you that "bad deal" and in reality its not a "bad deal". You are in a situation to learn and when you do learn the lessons you are supposed to learn your situation will change.
Also, you are not poor. You simply do not have enough money. Whether this is because you do not have a job or you do not have a good enough job I do not know but you have the ability to change that as well. You can look for a better job, get a better education, move to a better area, etc.. You have the POWER to change your life. Find your lessons, and make your changes.
And when you think your life is bad, remember there are people living with worse. My husband and I had 3 children by the age of 24. We have struggled every day since for money. We lived in some of the worst apartments I have ever seen. His mother tried to take our children away several times to no avail. I became permanently disabled and riddled with pain in 1997. Our daughter was hit and killed by a car at the age of 8 in 2000. Last summer the disease I have destroyed my lower gums and I was forced to have all my lower teeth removed which caused me to lose over 25 pounds and I am now 85lbs. My husband just developed a severe arthritis in his entire body and lost his business along with both of our houses.
Most people look at me and say OMG how did you survive any of this much less all of it. But each thing happened separately not all at once. And every time I had to accept with faith that it was meant to happen and find the lessons in it. My daughter's death was the most difficult. I was in shock for a long time and I don't remember much of the 3 years after her death. It took a long time for me to recover even a little and you never fully recover from losing a child but I know that she had a wonderful life and brought a bright shining light to this world while she was here. I know that she is always with me and that I will see her again.
And what we are dealing with now is losing everything we have worked over 17 years to attain but it is because I am not where I am supposed to be. We are buying an RV and traveling. This has been our dream for a very long time. We had no money to do this but slowly because I accepted that this is what we are supposed to be doing the money is coming to us in strange little ways.
You just have to find your path and follow it. Accept what you have as a gift each day and more gifts will follow. No God give us good or bad deals, we are simply here to learn and grow and we are given the situations to make that happen.

Because you did not send your every last penny to the great church. You will always be poor if you believe in god. The ones that try to say... "well im not rich but the lord looks after me" are freaking morons that are happy with a mundane existence. They are the poor ones.They are the ones with zero life ambition, zero personality, and zero ability to make decisions or live on their own. Organized religion knows this,preys on it, and requires it to keep people blind and stupid. Those who believe in fairy tales and who think they are better than everyone else and require a crutch such as the bible and religion to live deserve all they get. Even if all they get is a life that is dry as a piece of toast in the Mojave. They are the ones that are a drag on society and the world and they are the ones that need to be pruned off. They are the poor ones.

Jesus said, " The poor is with us always."
Life is a bad deal and that is what we are told, but what would be the worst deal?
God did not wipe us out.
We are promised a life short and full of troubles as the offsprings of Adam, we are born in sin and the only truth we know every day we live is that we will die, but we are promised SALVATION.
1Cor.15:22-28,51-53;
As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
2Pet.3:13;
Rev.21:1-5;
All is made as new and as perfect as before Eden when time began with LOST to be SAVED.

We all have lot in life, but God has given us power to over come all of that. Being poor is not the worst thing in life, some are always sick, and some has no love ones in their lives, so which one do you wish to choose from?.... Life is not perfect, but we can make the best of it, and it's up to you. God bless.

He didn't give it to you. If you were born poor, you can go to school/college, get a good education, and find a good job.
You can budget your money and save so that you will not be homeless.
You can work 2-3 jobs to make more money. Plenty of people do that. It's a necessity sometimes.
You can't blame God for this. You have the power to change your life. You are capable and intelligent. You can make things happen.
Good luck!

Well being poor is not a sin or a bad deal. Did you not read what God says in His word about being rich. Not that there is anything wrong with being rich but you need so much more wisdom to spend that money according to God's will. God will provide according to your needs. DO NOT WORSHIP MONEY. Be thank full in everything. God Bless and may God provide according to His will.

Be rich in Christ where it counts.
Mark 8:35 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel's will save it. 36 For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his life? 37 For what can a man give in return for his life? 38 For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels."
James 2:1 My brothers, show no partiality as you hold the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory. 2 For if a man wearing a gold ring and fine clothing comes into your assembly, and a poor man in shabby clothing also comes in, 3 and if you pay attention to the one who wears the fine clothing and say, "You sit here in a good place," while you say to the poor man, "You stand over there," or, "Sit down at my feet," 4 have you not then made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts? 5 Listen, my beloved brothers, has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom, which he has promised to those who love him?

Most of the planet is poor, or could be considered poor, but most of the people are reasonably happy
the most miserable people that I know are wealthy people
happiness comes from within, not from outside of yourself, and to find it within you must seek within, not outside of yourself
