People use their decisions to hurt others, lie, steal, cheat.
People use their free will to insult God--and blame him for what created people choose to do. It is especially funny when atheists blame God----If they dont believe in God, how can he possibly be to blame.
And if you want to assign blame to God for suffering and evil----Dont you out of necessity have to credit God for all the love, joy and happiness as well?
What do you think? ps if you say "God is not real" I am wondering why you answered the question in the first place.

Tsunami lovers---nature operates by cause and effect, tornadoes, floods, hurricanes are effects of nature just like rain, wind etc.----you would have to blame God for the food you eat if you follow this line as well--the rain waters the plants and so on. God has protected his people against such disasters even in the Bible. Why would he protect people against a disaster he created himself?
Use some logic in your answers, and not whining.

This is very sad, but true that some people blame God for their pain, suffering and evil in the world. It is true that people do cause much of their suffering by the lifestyles that they lead. Also, for everyone of us, "time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all."--Eccl. 9:11. But still, many fail to realize why would God permit wickedness. Jehovah God's main reason for permitting evil is to answer Satan's challenge. Satan the Devil said that God could not put men on earth who would be true to Him under test. (Job 1:6-12; 2:1-10) While reading the Scriptures in Job 1:16, 19; did you notice that Satan has control over the weather conditions? Jehovah allows Satan to remain to have opportunity to prove his challenge. (Exodus 9:16) Satan continues to bring woes now, to turn men against God, as he tries to prove his challenge. (Rev. 12:7-9; 12) Yes, Satan is the god of this system of things and is much behind the scene of the woes that mankind is experiencing on earth.

You're correct in that the laws of nature cause some things. God created nature, and should He interfere with these laws, He would be changing what He had created.

It's human nature to want to blame someone for things.

Yes, it is strange how some atheists blame God and question Him for things when they don't believe in the first place.

I also think some people who have been through hardships blame God. We have ALL been through hard times. We have ALL lost loved ones.
Death is a fact of life.
Some people choose to become bitter and blame God. Others choose to move on and to know that, if they and their loved one are Christian, they will see each other in Heaven one day. That gives them hope and comfort.

Most people do not have God in their lives (they do not know Him) but because they know of Him (and may go to church or read the Bible, etc) they feel betrayed.

Even if you are real close to God, that does not mean that evil will not come to you. Take Jesus as an example. He was perfect. Yet His father died when He was young. Some people called Him crazy, said He was demon possessed, lied about Him, beat Him and crucified Him. Yet Jesus never blamed the Father.

Yes and people caused the tsunami, people caused hurricane katrina etc and so on. Very convienient that you skip these types of things... the ones that insurance companies call "Acts of GOd"

You tell us to use logic?! Christians are the ones always saying everything they have they got from god. Growing up in church I seem to recall having to thank god for every morsel of food I ate. So... what are you even talking about?

People don't always create bad things. Natural disasters to me are just circumstance. An act of cleansing for the earth that has been going on for millions of years, but PEOPLE get caught up in. Satan is more responsible for people CHOOSING the wrong way ie. cheating, lying, stealing....A lot of people blame God for this because they know he is all-powerful and could change it if He saw fit. But they don't realize that that would only make us puppets without free will as God intended. God does answer prayers and does perform miracles every day it's just that people don't always see them for that. It's the evil side that says it's luck or coincidence rather than giving thanks to God for His helping and loving ways. Bad things happen to people everyday. Instead of blaming God for the happenings why don't people give Him thanks for helping them through it?

Check it right. You can't tell a mother who has a deformed child that's it's because of another person. You can't tell a person who has bone cancer or leukemia that it's because of another person. Natural pain and suffering is an act of selection. Getting maimed or killed by a drunk driver is unnatural. Being shot is unnatural. Losing a limb because of a stunt is unnatural. Your posting really makes no sense. If you've ever seen the movie The Song of Bernadette you would know that self imposed pain and suffering and natural pain and suffering are two entirely different things.

people blame god because god is their scapegoat that does not argue back...it is easy to blame that which you think is not in the same room with you...in reality the all the credit and blame should be squarely embraced by the individual...it is called free-will and most like to take what they consider a positive in it and dismiss or assess blame towards someone or something else for what they consider the negatives

There is no "God", and you're fooling yourself when you write

"It is especially funny when atheists blame God----If they dont believe in God, how can he possibly be to blame".

Atheists DON'T blame god. You just made that up. Doesn't the fact that you have to be so dishonest to prop up your belief system tell you something about the quality of that belief system?

Amen. And as I mentioned to a questioner before this one, why blame God? You see, even as a basic Christian, I do believe in the influence of a certain evil entity.

You see the epitomy of "i want" when you read the boards. Why didn't God give me this and that, since He didn't, He doesn't exist.

Some ppl here are so razzed because they cannot explain God, but infuriate themselves so much do to the fact that others have a relationship with Him.

Ppl want to create their own gods, they have been successful, its just a shame when the true God that they ignore is the only one that can save them.
