Does it matt down and look even thinner - even after getting up and brushing - after you slept on it?

Don't wash your hair every day it's not good for it. Use a spray bottle with water and a little conditioner in it in the morning to get the kinks out.

I have fine hair, but it's shoulder length. I don't wash my hair everyday. I'll wet it and condition it, but unless it looks greasy I don't wash it.. Everyother day, with a mild shampoo.... If it gets matted down- maybe a straightning iron will fluff it up or make it more manageable. .I find that not washing my hair everyday makes it easier to style.. Also giving your hair a few brush strokes at night will distribute the hairs natural oils.. Keeping it healthy.. Also, taking a multivitamin helps.. good luck.

It depends on how much I was outside in the heat and humidity the day before. If I wasnt out much in the heat,I just dampen and flip my head upside down and tousle.
