As this topic was raised under "Dental", I will answer from that viewpoint. Gassed water contains carbonic acid (CO2 in solution). This can erode tooth enamel. Not a huge problem in adults, but significant in children. From this point of view, still water is best, and don't add sugar-based sweeteners/additives.

Fizzy water makes you very bloated and fills you up with gas. Still water is more like the real thing.

Yes. If you have a stomach upset, fizzy water is one of the things that will help to calm it. Particularly useful if you suddenly develop tummy trouble on a plane!

distilled water should NEVER be drank, and gassed I think you mean seltzer water...well that is full of salt...
so neither....purified is the best unless your in Ireland where the water is awesome....
