I'm not totaly sure what you may be referring too so I will assume its the change from Republicans to Democrates being in control.
I fear the democrates taking over the Congress and the presidency because the democrates put up a good show and use great phrases that usualy mean something different from what the rest of us think they mean.
The Democratic Party was the Slavery party, the Tammany Hall Party, and Anti-women's Vote Party. If people knew the history of the Democratic party they would be appauled.
The Democratic Party was known as the party of the immigrants. Yah, because they used those immigrants to appear at voting poles and vote democrat. (Read a book called, "Gotham."
Now I know the Republicans have problems also. But the Republicans has usually stood for what was best for the country as a whole.
Now we are in a situation with the war in Iraq (Which the dems voted for also, but now deny) where members of our own government are making it harder on our troops by condemning U.S. policy and the President openly.
The things the Democrates have done during this war would have been considered High Treason in World War II. How many soldiers did they help kill by giving information and moral support to the enemy by openly condmning their own country and president? Everytime they say, "Mr President bring these troop home," it gives Alkida more morale. Push harder and the Americans will leave, they think. So fight harder, kill more soldiers and the Americans will get tired and go home.
The Democrates will take this country down fast. How long before the suicide bombers go off here? How long before one of our cities is a new Grand Canyon?
The Republicans have kept the country safe!
The Democrates said once they got in power they would end this war. Another lie! When the vote came down to do so, they backed off. They were afraid that if things went really bad, they would get the blame. Democrates are angry liars and can't see the forest for the trees. They fail to understand that we are not living the 1960's flower generation. Give Alkida a flower and they will blow you up!

The best way to get peoples mind off the country's problems is to change something, at least it will keep you happy and expectant for a short while. When we get disenchanted again, change something else.

It is the same with unhappy people. The new year is met with great expectation, my life will change you think, when it doesn't expect a change at Easter and the bank holidays. When it doesn't the annual holiday will surely change it. When that doesn't, a change of job will surely change it. Get rid of your partner, it was their fault anyway, then my life will change. The last gasp will surely be Christmas holidays. No change there either.

You are looking in the wrong place to change your life. Politicians of any persuasion do not have the answer. Look to Jesus, He made a dramatic difference to me. The more of the country that makes this decision the more the wind of change there will be. The wind being the Holy Spirit of course.

Yes, if we all put our imaginations to positive use, then a positive wind of change WILL certainly sweep through the country.

For the last couple of days there has been a strong 'wind'....the country is certainly 'changing' out of all recognition......many of our towns and some of the country could do with a good 'sweeping'....and it is all going to get worse beyond our 'imagination'
Best wishes, Mike.

Friend: Change is always in process, but change is only in how things are done. There is nothing new the Bible tells us. Spend some time in the historical books of the Old Testament. As you read the stories, put yourself in the place of the main character. You will be amazed at how often you see your own personality traits and flaws.

If there is 'a wind of change sweeping the country,' my hope is that it crosses the pond to the USA.

are you really Gordon Brown, I don't think so. But to answer your question, human governments can never bring about positive changes. The only wind of change of any significance that is about to happen is the long awaited coming of Gods Government under the leadership Of Jesus Christ.

There is always change. Usually subtle, sometimes radical, but change is always taking place. We can only wish that some change of significance about to unfold that could improve the economy, significantly diminish the unemployment level, and stabelize relations in the international community. But if you want my opinion, I wouldn't be holding my breath. George W. still has plenty of time left in office to do even more damage.....
Here's hoping for better tomarrow!!

One he11 of a backlash is a coming for you and your party and all the PC brigade. (I hope and pray, with every breath in my body). You have no mandate to govern. Never would your party have been elected with you at the helm. For the last 62 years the country has managed just fine without you. Get ye gone! We the people do not want YOU.
I wish you a long and happy retirement in any third world country of your choice. I know you want to retire to a third world country your every word proves you are trying to turn the UK into one!
