All say that God created the Man in his form.
Is it so
Do animals think or see God in their form
As we don't understand animals so we cant analyse them

Just a thought

Dear Aum thanks for the clarification now the question arises is as per you there are partitions in souls like animal soul, human soul, asura and etc, and they cannot be transfered from one to other if there is no big hulchul in the activities of the soul. And you say that Soul is not created nor Destroyed then we are today some 1000 for suppose, and back in history if the count was some 10 then what are these 990 doing all the time.
Second Did humans earned the Vivek or they got it in free from Mother Nature

Please do answer
I have few more

This is a christian view to say god created man in his image..and is not correct.

As per hinduism, human is not image of god, but a very important transitory in the universe. Human being is a cross road from where one can attain Moksha, or become Dev or Asur or go back to animals.

Moksha is available to human beings only, and even Devas have to take birth as human to attain Moksha. Why ?? because only human are Karmic beings.. they can earn Karma. Animals, asuras and devas are bhoga yonis and they are getting enjoyment/punishment for their past karma, not earning new karma
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Animals having 6th sense. The main difference between human and animal is of Vivek. Since we have vivek and can select our Karma, we are affected by laws of karma. Mother Nature, after giving us viveka, takes us out of her instintive care, which she is offering to animals

animals are protected or killed by mother nature as per her vast plans. The Nature works in them as instinct and thus it is not the animal who has the 6th sense, it is Natue which protects them if required.... and the same nature killed most of dinausaurs...when they were not required.. for new experiment with mamals.
--------------------------------------------------------------

Normally humans do not go back to animal as per nature's plan...but sometimes due to some strong karmic debts, human can take re-birth as animals too.

For example Jad-bharat who was a great sage, but felt strong love for an orphan deer kid, and thus he took re-birth as deer.

Some human beings who have very furious nature, are sent back as furious animals till they have exhausted their furious nature...etc etc

Such animals who have come back from humans.... do remember their past sometimes due to their devotion to god...and god takes mercy on them and give them moksha from animal life.....stories like Gajendra moksha etc are examples.

similarly some devas or humans beings had great devotion for god,but became bird or animal due a great sin....are revered by god and made their Vahan etc...to give them a sort of moksha

God does not interefere into the laws of Nature and laws of karma... .but he can take pity and help the being....and such examples of god taking pity on animals is based on the theory i presented above
-----------------------------------------
EDIT -1 : i recently replied this question on YA. First remember earth is not the only planet. As per hinduism there are millions of such planets and somewhere more advanced and somewhere lesser advanced humans are living. souls keep transferring between these two... Albert Einstien, Da Vinci,Stephen Hawking cant be explained otherwise!

There are many astral planes (called hells and heavens) where innumerable souls are waiting to take birth .... also those animal souls which have completed their cycle of evolution are taking birth as human beings... the normal law is those animals who served humanity by any way ( like cows, bulls, horses, donkeys, mules, etc)...take birth as humans as a prize for their service to humanity... all those animals killed by humans for pleasure...also take birth as humans... and u can see animals are lesser now.... and u will find many humans like donkeys ..(LOL)
-------------------------------------------

EDIT2: Viveka.... this is very deep... and needs lot of writing.. in short i can say Vivek is developed from intelligence.... The evolution of soul as per tantra is first Prana => sub-consc=>mind=>intelligence=>viveka=> Pragya=> Rithambhara Pragaya (the last state when we are enlightened)

Is se jiyada bata diya to sab chhod kar Himalaya bhaag jaoge...so itne par hi sabar kar le badri bhai
i will be too happy to get some more querries on this from you

Sir,

Who said in HINDUISM that animals are not having souls and can not achieve moksha.
In Bhagavath Geeta Lord Sri Krishna declares in Vibhooti Yoga thus;
Ayamaatmah Gudaakesha sarva Bhootaashaya Sthithah....
andBin 22nd sloka ( Iam the soul in all animate things or bhootas )
bhootaanaa masmi Cheytanaa......( Iam the active force in all animate things )

and Staavaraanaam himaalayah (I am Himalaya in immovables or inert things)

So goes the complete Vibhooti Yoga.

Then how can you say God created man in His form.
We call Shiva as Pasupati naath..does not it mean that we humans too are animals?

Again it was declared ..''Jantuunaam nara janma durlabham.''
( Human form is very difficult to attain in the animal world .
A complete concentrated reading of the Vibhooto Yoga in Geeta will make us understand that there is nothing in the Universe that is not GOD.

Well animals dont have the right to karma-the soul is in them and so is God because god is in all living entities but the animals cant do karma or attain God.They cant see God within themselves.

As for Man being in the image of God this is from Bible. In Sanatana Dharma God is the nirguna brahmn and that nirguna brahmn takes a spiritual form that is the suguna like Lord Narayan who sits on Shesha even when the creation perishes.
In our religion God has assumed the form of matsya ie fish in matsya avtaar and of Narsimha(half man and half lion)

Lord Krishna says-"The knowledgeable ie saint sees the soul in a dog, man or chandaala as the same."

edit-that girl is saying so because Christians believe that there is no soul in animals and plants

edit-ooops sorry I forgot that.Those are exceptions.
You gave a great point here.Yes now after remembering this I agree that animals too can see God but only if they have Gods grace.

My Guruji went to live somewhere. There thier was a dog. That dog would always always follow him whenever he ventured out of his room. The sevaks sometimes tried to drive that dog away. But my Guruji always prohibited them to do so. One day he finally said while looking at that dog with great mercy- "in its previous life he was a great devotee of mine but he comitted some mistake"There cant be a better example of this.
thanks a lot om tat sat. Thanks for reminding me.I am extremely sorry for ruling this point out.

even Gajendra attained salvation because of previous birth samskaaras. And there is Nandi, Maatas lion( i am maatas lion you know), and the cows of vrindavana. They wept when Lord Krishna left Vrindavana. Who can not love God? We all are his amshas.Sheshanaaga - a manifestation of Narayana though an incarnation of God still assumes the form of a naaga. And Shivas companions and devotees are animals, ghosts, snakes etc

but those whom you mention above -is it fair to call them animals? They are great souls in the form of animals.

GREAT THOUGHT

What if we (collectively) are god? Hear me out... Climate change. Ability to end the world in nuclear fire. Power over our own evolution.... Gene mapping and genetic manipulation (coming for humans veeeerrrrry soon). Ability to travel into the heavens (space flight). I too believe there are no gods, ghost or goblins but I think there is a strong argument to be made about our increasing knowledge base and the god-like responsibility that comes with it. Are we too young as a species to deal with it or can we mature as fast as we are learning the truths of the universe?

Nice question.
Due to karma we may be born as Animals, in my veiw i would say it a period where the soul has to stay as animals and die, then may be reborn as a human where we realise and seek the Truth. I would say its a tough period the soul (we) go thro as being born as animal & does not generate karma, at the end of that birth the due to karmic balance will be born as human to where we can seek the Truth. So except few exemption i would say the soul when born as animal is rather cursed not to seek the Truth.

This is a very important question.

Sapatashati(Chandipat) tells that
"Janamasti samasta jantor vishayagochare"
"There is knowledge in all creatures upon this earth"

Upanishads are sure that apart from human all other animals are in particular state of mind which is called"BRHMANANDA'" or "Natural enlightenment"
They don`t have any kind of desires, as well as being they are in absolute innocence, they should be treated like "NITYAMUKTA" or "Freed ever". Even they do not come under the law of Karma

By these reasons all creatures apart from human need not any kind of God or other philosophies.

The human being is the finest creation of god. And about animals understanding about God, they are very close to almighty. They feel him. One of them is Kaakbhasundi, who is a great devotee of Lord Rama and whenever Lord Vishnu enacted that role Kaakbhasundi play with them. Their are a lot of episode of these. Such as Gajendra Moksha a stuti by Gajraaj to save him from a crocodile.

Yeah I agree with you but it is given in all puranas that when Brahma started creations he created animals first them when he is not satisfied with himself then created manas putra. but they are also vairaagi so finally he prayed to lord and got power to create human being.

Tough question ;-)

My opinion. I don't think animals see God in their form, I think they more Feel God. It's kind of hard to describe, but I'll try.

If you sit under a tree, you can feel a relaxing soothing energy coming form the tree. Without going into a long explanation, this energy is a form of the Divine energy, which the ancients called Spiritus. That is what I believe animals experience.

I hope this is clear, it's such a tricky question.

It is only moses who says in hos first book Geneis tht god made man after his image and that hew made him at athe adult stage fit for procreation.no other scripture says hat god made man suddenly. also it says that god blew in tothe nostrils of man and man came to life and breating .The same God who the prvious day made all the creatures ( after whose image god only knew ) and he did not blow in to their nostrils and they started breatig without god's help. so it alsomens tht god had a lubng and he was living because he was breathing .so God too had all theorgans that man had and what he did withthem /god alone knows and he kept it a secret .
animals do not cre for the God as htey started breathig with out depending on /god for life .
They did not think it worthwhile to spend their life worrying about God as the god might eat them too. They prefered to live in peace to thinking about god and living a peaceless life given to terrorist attacks .Terrorists do not kidnap or kill them by suicide attack . Animals of the same category do not fight on the basis of religions .
It is very certain and proved that they did not see god as they have not yet created any religions .. All religions that men have created have been created because some men unfortunately happend to see god which most innocent men were unable to see.

Brother, God has no form. EVERYTHING IS GOD'S THOUGHT FORM-- One day all may be gone & reformed. World is his drama- we are all his actors.& tools. SUPER SOUL HAS DIVIDED HIMSELF INTO MICRO-SOULS.
2. Animals, having no 6th sense they do not seek him But God take care of them, he lives in them also .
