I think they are beautiful people. They aren't perfect, but they try to live a decent life. A True JW is honest, and they live peaceful among men. They pay their taxes and so forth.

Basically, Jehovah’s Witnesses have been unjustly hated for the same reasons that the early Christians were persecuted. First, Jehovah’s Witnesses act upon their religious beliefs in ways that make them unpopular with some. For example, they zealously preach the good news of God’s Kingdom, but people often misunderstand their zeal, viewing their preaching as “aggressive proselytizing.” (Compare Acts 4:19, 20.) They also are neutral toward the politics and wars of the nations, and sometimes this has been wrongly taken to mean that the Witnesses are disloyal citizens.—Micah 4:3, 4.

Second, Jehovah’s Witnesses have been targets of false accusations—barefaced lies and twisted presentations of their beliefs. As a result, they have been the object of unjustified attack in some lands. Further, because they seek nonblood medical treatment that is in harmony with their desire to obey the Bible’s command to ‘abstain from blood,’ they have wrongly been labeled “child murderers” and “a suicide cult.” (Acts 15:29) But the fact is that Jehovah’s Witnesses place a high value on life, and they seek to obtain the best available medical care for themselves and their children. The accusation that numerous children of Jehovah’s Witnesses die each year as a result of refusing blood transfusions is totally unfounded. In addition, because Bible truth does not have the same effect on all family members, Witnesses have also been accused of breaking up families. Yet, those acquainted with Jehovah’s Witnesses know that they highly regard family life and try to follow the Biblical commands that a husband and wife love and respect each other and that children obey their parents whether they are believers or not.

In many instances, the principal instigators of persecution of Jehovah’s servants have turned out to be religious opposers who have used their influence with political authorities and the media to try to suppress the activities of the Witnesses.

As Jehovah’s Witnesses, we acknowledge Jehovah as the Universal Sovereign. His law is supreme. We conscientiously obey human governments, thus ‘paying back Caesar’s things to Caesar.’ But we will allow nothing to interfere with our fulfilling a far more important responsibility—‘paying back God’s things to God.’ (Matthew 22:21) We fully understand that doing so will make us “objects of hatred” by the nations, but we accept this as part of the cost of discipleship. The legal record of Jehovah’s Witnesses in the 20th century is a testimony to our determination to defend our faith. With Jehovah’s help and backing, we will continue “without letup teaching and declaring the good news.” Acts 5:42.

It is like in school, the smartest kid in the class is always the most hated because he screws up the grade curve.

JWs know more than almost anyone we meet about the Bible as we study so much. It is though like being an idiot savant; we know a lot about one thing but we may not be able to balance a checkbook.

The clergy have good reason to teach fear of us. What would happen if their people suddenly let JWs show them from their own Bibles how falsely they had been taught all these years? What would happen to the clergy's bank accounts? In some cases, what would happen to their hides?

Satan certainly doesn't want to lose anybody. He wants to keep people blinded to their situation. When he goes, he wants to take everyone with him.

It is true some people have good uses for us. Employers, for example, sleep well at night employing JWs for they know we aren't at work stealing the furniture. Police like us for the most part because when we are in town for a convention, they don't have much to do unlike with some other convention or sporting event. Custodians like us as we pick up after ourselves. Frequently it is said we leave a site cleaner than we found it. We have a good reputation but they are still afraid because of bad rumors.

Jesus Christ said he was hated and we would be hated also. we don't celebrate holidays because they are man made, but we do give gifts during the year. we also have parties. when you have your Christmas and buy gifts, you pay off your credit cards until the following Christmas and start all over again. we don't have that problem. we knock on people's doors because Jesus Christ commanded us at Matthew 28 verses 19 and 20. we don't convert anyone, that is between you and Jehovah God. Jehovah did not change his mind about living forever on a paradise earth that Adam and Eve lost. Jehovah cannot lie. learn what Jehovah Witnesses are about at a kingdom hall. or at the website www.watchtower.org. we follow the bible

Only JWs think they are the most hated religion.

Which explains a lot.

They ARE lovely people - utterly sincere - very committed - decent living - law-abiding - tax-paying etc. If they could just tone down their persecution complex a few notches, that would help.

Thank you!
We try very hard of live up to the standards that we are taught to live by from Jehovah our God and Creator of mankind.
It is a huge responsibility to bear his name and to do our best each and every day to keep it free from reproach and shame.
But the peace that Jehovah gives to us all for trying to do so, and to be part of a loving organization where you go and know these truly are your spiritually brothers and sisters is very rewarding.

They are very nice people and sincere in their beliefs, although many people find them annoying. I don't think JW's are the most hated religion, however. Jews, Muslims, and mainstream Christianity are all in the most-hated groups. Being persecuted doesn't necessarily mean you have the truth, it just means someone somewhere doesn't like you and what you stand for.

As see it, they speak of having the Truth, and this is part of the real problem as most feel that no one religion has all of the truth. On the other hand those that do have a fair degree of it, are hated by those who have less.

Truth in matters of Religion has a long history with issues that we are faced with to this very day and time.

My view is it always comes with a price as was foretold by those who had most of it: Truth is what we all seek, and those finding it will indeed find the hate on the part of the ones who hold to the Lie.

They aren't the most hated religion any more. All religions take a serious bashing at some point, it goes around in a nasty circle. The same goes for all other true religions also, citizens pay taxes, some people are good and some are bad, honest or dishonest. At the moment I would say that the Catholic portion of spirituality is being beaten up still.

It was written...Jesus said they hated and persecuted me. They will hate and persecute you.

We are in good company. Jesus is our newly installed King and Lord. He is head of the Messianic Kingdom we all pray for in the Lords prayer. He was our mediator between God and us and he laid down his perfect life for us. We walk in his footsteps to do as he taught us.

Satan has twisted their thinking to think what is good is bad and what is bad is good.

Their thinking will also be confused in the end when they turn on each other and slaughter one another while God's servants stand by and watch.

God will not put up with it much longer.

He is drawing them to the end....he says its like a hook in their jaw.....he is reeling in Satan and his followers.

A lot of the dislike is perpetuated by the clergy. They would be unemployed if people found out the "truth" about God and his purposes, and the bible promises that someday they will be a lot more than unemployed.
