She probably is OK. It sounds like she knocked herself out cold with a possible concussion.

But if she is acting normal now, (besides a headache) I think she should be OK. If you notice any odd behavior, you should take her to the vet right away. IE; not eating, disoriented, not drinking, not seeing very well. You also want to make sure that she can get up instead of just laying in her bed all day. See if she will play or find out how interested she is in going for a walk.

ADD:
People are too hung up on names! What difference does it make what she calls her dog! She was asking about the injury, not if there is such a thing as a mini Yorkie!

I have a Dwarf Pomeranian and I know technically, there is no such breed. But I refer to her as a "dwarf" because she has dwarfism, just as people do! Her body is disproportionate, just like that of dwarfs in people! Sheesh!!!

1.There is no such breed as a mini yorkie. It is something dreamed up by puppy mills to increase sales. There are just some yorkies that are smaller than others.

2. Look at her eyes to see if they are dialating correctly. Watch her eat this moring and see if she keeps it down. Watch her walk and notice anything out of the ordinary. If she seems fine she could very will be, but if only to ease your mind you could give your vet a call and ask if they think they should see her.

It is hard to say.
my sister was in a car accident with her chihuahua. The chi was in a crate but it went against teh windshied. It wasn't until alomost 3-4 months later she started to have seizures and it was determined to be a result from the accident and head injury. I would take her and have her checked a head injury can cause such things as water ( or fluid) on teh brain and cause severe if not fatal problems.

Don't know anything about head injuries- but no breed association recognizes a teacup ANYTHING. Runts bred with RUNTS create small dogs which are prone to health problems and not good examples of the breed standard- no reputable breeder would do it.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear about your Yorkie. Take her to the vet & have her checked out.
I have 2 Yorkies also. One is a wiggle worm & doesn't like being held. If you hold her like a cat, there's no way they can wiggle out of your arms.

The symptoms you have mentioned indicate concussion or a head injury, take her to the vet now to have her assessed.
