If you are a fat person you simply need to eat LESS (unless you have a fluid retention or hormonal problem) and even then you will virtually become a skeleton if you didn't eat at all!
If you are a skinny person and you exercise you need to eat well (high protein, fat and carbohydrate) to gain sensible weight. (Remember you need a healthy diet that includes fresh vegetables and fruits and maybe a vitamin/mineral supplement to be healthy and look good). Don't cook vegetables in the microwave as it destroys the enzymes and you wont get the vitamins and only steam veg. and eat enough salads). If you are "down" you need to get started and you will become more motivated as your body health improves your mood as well. Drink more fluid and make sure you are not overloaded with heavy metals in the body.
Exercise is good in both cases as your circulation is important to get the oxygen around the body. Hope that helps. Marceau (Australia)

1 - Yes
2 - Sort of. You may gain muscle weight, so the scales will say you are heavier. But you will look better.
Weight is just a number, it's about body fat percentage and health and how you look.
Foods to make you slimmer -
Fruits - Apples, strawberries, bananas, cold watermelon, grapes etc.
Veg - Celery, carrots, lettuce etc
Meats - lean chicken, fish etc
Green tea is supposed to help speed up your metabolism.
Cutting DOWN on carbs. NOT cutting them out completely, will help lose weight. It's incredibly dangerous to cut them out completely.
Faddy diets don't work.
You need to make a lifestyle change.
Eat healthily - work out
Tennis
swimming
Dancing
Jogging
Even golf (all that walking!)
You get the idea....

well, stuff like vegetable, meat and seafood don't make you gain weight. but foods that have oil mostly make you gain weight a lot quicker, and watch out for fast foods, because they'll make you gain weight. and if you're fat and exercise yes it would make you slimmer, try running; its a great work out. it builds up mussels and tighten up your abs, as long as you run for lets say about 45 mins- 1 hour everyday you can eat anything you want and not gain weight, as long as you keep exercising daily. and if you're a skinny and you exercise no you will not put on more weight, well you might because the more you work out then the more mussels you get.

to answer your questions...yes...and no. Fat people who exercise and who watch what they eat then they will slim up. and Skinny people who excercise might gain muscle. Eating celery actually can slim you, the material in it works your stomach as it tries to digest it. You actually burn more calories digesting it than gaining by eating it. Fat foods would include big macs and bread stuff.

you already know the answer mr. dont know. do you ask this question to stimulate the minds of others or yourself. i would take the time to answer at length. however im not amused. ..................Everyone is different, some people exersize every day and cant lose unwanted weight. a friend of mine weighs 155 lbs at 5'8, he eats twice as much as me each day, goes to lift weights with me is and coninually gets stronger, just no bigger. i'm 6'1 215 when i stay in shape and i'll fluctuate 10-15lbs in each direction if i dont pay attention to my life habits. We're all different!
