seeing things, anything that is not real, could be your mind saying - go to sleep, I am hungry -- some kind of basic need that is not being met

or maybe you stared at something to long -- more info is really needed here

NO! Some children see fairies all the time and to them they are real. Some winged insects look like fairies and are big enough to be fairies; who knows there might be a real fairy hiding amongst them. Don't let anyone on here convince you you are crazy. If you have a camera take a picture of them. That will show THEM you weren't fibbing.

That sounds like some type of hallucination with occur with some types of conditions and you might want to discuss this with your doctor and see if there is a problem or not.
