It is said that jackfruit sap (latex) is a bacteriolytic agent so yes it is an antibacterial agent.
Jackfruit sap contains about 82.6 to 86.4% resins which has bacteriolytic activity just like the papaya sap.
It is usually mixed with vinegar and promotes healing of abscesses, snakebite and glandular swellings.
