A dab of flour or cornstarch will usually do it. Or, you can get styptic at any pet supply shop. You can also get it at the pharmacy in the shaving supplies section.

If you have flour or cornstarch, apply it liberally (load it on!) to your dog's nails while applying pressure. The bleeding should stop within moments. You may need to apply the cornstarch or flour again, as this will help the clotting process. Keep his activity restricted for about an hour, as movement may cause the bleeding to start again.
I hope this has been helpful.

Well, if your dog has black nails, it is more difficult to see the quick. But if your dog has white nails, the pink bit in the middle is the quick. If your dog's nails bleed when you cut them, just wrap the paw up quickly in bandage and book a vet appointment. To avoid this happening, book your dog into a dog grooming parlour. I hope this helps!

Dawgpro is correct - it will stop on its own, no treatment needed (assuming this is cutting slightly back too far and not cutting half the toe off or some such thing)
If you want to stop it before blood get drippled everwhere the cornstarch, syptic powder or superglue will all work.
