ok i have been friends w/ my best guy friend since 6th grade (we r both going into 8th) and in 6th grade i told him i liked him but he told me that he just wanted 2 be friends and now we r still the best of friends and we do hug and lean on eachothers shoulders and stuff like that and @ my our bffs party we hung out the whole time just me and him and the other day i asked him if he wanted 2 go see a movie w/ me and out bff and he said her but when he asked his dad he just asked if he could go w/ me not our other friend (but i asked him not our other friend) and every 1 thinks we will date but when?? should i just wait until the movie thing is over and is it a date?? i do kinda like him though and always kinda have but since i told him i liked him i have dated other ppl and so has he uhh help??
(oh and i have risked our friend ship b4 which was really stupid so i no he will be my friend again if it doenst work out

Only if you're willing to lose him as a friend when your "romance" goes sour. And it will go sour eventually. I've never met anyone who's married to their 8th grade sweetheart, and I've met a lot of people!

well maybe he just wanted to be ur fried because he hadent even known you for more than a year but maybe u should wait untill he asks u out only ask him out if u know 100% he's gana say yes!

i personaly have a few girls that i really like and i find that the ones i really want to keep i MUST mantain a freindship with or i run a greater risk of loseing them. the the question is how much do you love him enough? enought to lose him?

u should but only if he has feelings for you too..
if i were you, i'd wait. see first if he'd want to date you too. date other guys while ur at it and see if he gets jealous..
