Hello, So recently I have discovered a lumb under my right armpit, I figured it might of just been some kind of a pimple or sore from shaving under my arms, but its been a few days now and the lumb seems to be getting bigger, it doesnt hurt unless I touch down on it, and it is Under the skin not ontop, does anyone have a clue as to what this might be?, I am 19 years old, from Australia and is currently visiting the USA.

It doesn't sound painful enough to be a cyst/boil.

Most likely its just an inflamed lymph node from your body fighting off a small illness, there is a possibility albeit small that it could be cancer I would go get checked out.

Also since it is slightly tender to touch its a good sign that it is NOT cancer, but still go get checked.

It could be something as simple as an inflamed hair follicle or something as serious as cancer. We can't answer that , so the best advice is to go see a doctor. I would rather spend $200 and find out it was nothing, than to ignore it until it became untreatable and life threatening. Best wishes. By the way, I'm assuming you mean it's a lump.

Go to the doctor as soon as possible. It may be a swollen lymph gland. Could also be a sign of breast cancer.

Could also be a cyst or spider bite, if its around bone could aslo be a calcium deposit, although under arm is rare place for that. go to doctor
