Yes.
The Catholic Church will accept you and your daughter with open arms.
Depending on all the circumstances involved, Baptisms can be done with the father's consent.
If you are interested in joining or just learning more about the Catholic Church, contact your local parish and ask about information about their RCIA Inquiry group.
You can go and ask any questions you want.
This is the first step in RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) but you can stop at any time.
There is no obligation to become a Catholic.
Welcome.
With love and prayers in Christ.

Congratulations! I myself am a convert to Catholicism. From the information you have given, there is nothing standing in the way of you becoming Catholic. If you have legal custody, there shouldn't be any problem with the baby's baptism. Church law states:
Can. 868 §1. For an infant to be baptized licitly:
1/ the parents or at least one of them or the person who legitimately takes their place must consent;
2/ there must be a founded hope that the infant will be brought up in the Catholic religion; if such hope is altogether lacking, the baptism is to be delayed according to the prescripts of particular law after the parents have been advised about the reason.

I am Catholic and yes the Church will accept you.
You need to go to your local parish and talk to the priest.
Yes, you can have your child baptized into the faith. You would have to become Catholic first, this means you'd have to go to confession and repent of your sins. Then once you are Catholic, you can have your daughter baptized.
That 15 year child that says her Mom was turned away...that's sad. I don't know if she was turned away from the Catholic Church too..but one thing to remember is that all religions have different kinds of people in them. All the people in a church are not necessarily representative of the faith.
Learn about Catholicism and go to Mass. You will find yourself drawn in to the very heart of Jesus.

God's capacity for forgiveness far exceeds man's capacity for sin. Don't think anything you've done is unforgiveable. Of course the Catholic Church will accept you.
People often misconstrue the Catholic Church as a house of saints. In reality, it's a hospital for sinners.
It is precisely because of certain mistakes that you've come to realize how much you need God's help in order to "win the battle".
Authentic idiots don't have relevations like that. Therefore, don't hesitate to call.

As others have reported, the Roman Catholic church would in many circumstances in basic terms settle for somebody in the event that they have been interior the closet (and for sure, remains celibate - as all RC monks and nuns are predicted to be). different denominations: there are various them! the only closest in some the variety to the RC church is the Episcopal church right here interior the U. S.. Congregational churches additionally settle for gays/lesbians as do some Methodist and Lutheran churches. i comprehend there are others ---- those are in basic terms a number of hte extra mainstream ones.

The Catholic Church WILL accept you, and with loving arms. Those who turn to God will always be accepted, because if you believe in Him then you already are a part of Christ's church.

Despite what some of these critics might think or believe, Catholics ARE Christians. I know, because I am one. My relationship with Christ is my whole life. People who think Catholics are not Christians have not spent enough time trying to understand, one of the things which is the pinnacle of our faith as Christians.
"Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' and behold, the log is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye." (Matthew 7: 1 - 5)
God Bless You

I have a very religious family. My single Mom got pregnant with me, while she was not married. She tried to get me baptised, and the people told her that she was going to hell.. which i thought was completely ridiculous. She even tried to put me into a Catholic school. I did go for one year, but left because none of the teachers treated me with the same amount of respect as the other kids..
EDIT:
everyone who is answering this is saying the exact same thing that people told my mother. and the church still rejected us.. i guess times have changed? =S
I'm 15 now and have been an agnostic ever since i started going to public school.

God bless you and welcome home!
It makes my heart so happy to see someone coming to the Church. I used to be a protestant and became Catholic. Best decision of my life!
You will more than likely need to attend RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults). This is the program that will teach you the Catholic faith.
Your best answers regarding the baptism of your child will come from a priest. You don’t have to be scared or worried. There are no stupid questions. The priest realizes that everyone is different and has questions; he’s there to help. Ask him whatever you like.
Again, God bless you and welcome home.

If you believe in Jesus Christ, have asked Him for forgiveness and have accepted Him as your Lord and Savior, then you have been reborn into the family of Christ, and are a part of the church (the body of Christ). I would recommend you to keep looking if any church doesn't accept you on the basis of your situation, because Christ came to save sinners (that is all of us), and none of us are perfect...all that is needed for salvation is your faith in Jesus Christ. Find a church that preaches the Bible, whether Catholic if you prefer more rigid structure and traditions if that is your preference or Protestant...non-denominational, Baptist, etc...if you prefer a more relaxed/casual setting etc..pray for God to help you find the right church for you and your daughter. He will.
God bless you sister
