i know the techniques they would use as i do boxing and a form of freestyle karate based on muay thai but i was wondering how they train?

do they run skip do push ups do they train like boxers or tae kwon do guys what is a normal routine for a kick boxer? can anyone give me a lesson plan just so i can get an idea and no i dont wanna do kick boxing im happy with what i do (finally)

I kickboxed for 8 years roughly and it was just like boxing training only they added more for your leg training and strength you have to throw so many kicks per round when i competed.

so id say its alot like boxing plus a little more for the leg build up and stretching.

There are a couple of kickbox studios around that offer the
first few classes free. Try going to a session that is advanced
so has less aerobics (air kicks & punches) and more bag
hitting. It really helps your boxing a lot by improving agility.

at my gym we first warm up: different running excerises, then shadow box a few rounds, work on the focus mitts for at least 3 rounds, work on the thai pads at least 3 rounds, work on the heavy bag at least 3 rounds or spar 3 rounds. then we'll do pushups, situps, and squats

Training is alot like boxing.

jump rope, drills, sparring, hitting the heavy bag, shadow boxing, etc.
