I was reading a question on here about the things guys can't stand in a girl, and some people said they don't girls that are too clingy.

I don't think I'm clingy, my guy has never told me I'm clingy, but...now that I think about it, I might be.

What counts as being clingy?

clingy is when you can't just call your bf and leave a message - you gotta blow his phone/pager/email up until you hear from him.

clingy is when you are so insecure, he can't got anywhere if he doesn't (a) take you, (b) ask you first, or (c) call you and talk to you while he is away from you.

clingy is always asking what he is thinking. all the d'amn time...

clingy is lying to your girls about why you can't hang with them, using your bf as the excuse.

clingy is not being able to say more than a couple of sentences before mentioning your bf.

clingy is not thinking for yourself, but wanting your bf to use his brain for you.

Being too clingy is not letting the other person in your life have a life apart from you. It reveals itself several ways. The clingy person does not like his/her partner to have other friends. The clingy person is not okay at a party with his/her partner unless his/her person is at his/ side, drives him nuts, and probably will start a fight about his/her partner talking to somebody else at a PARTY, even though the point of the party is for them to socialize. The clingy person does not want his/her partner to work outside the home, or if they do, to minimize contact with any co-workers outside of work. The clingy person does not get along with and does not approve of his/her partner's relationship with their family. The clingy person is insecure and should be avoided. I don't know if you are Asker, but these for sure are the signs. It's cool you are asking yourself if you are or not, that is probably a good clue to me that you are not........confident enough to question yourself. lol

checking up on them 24/7, having to go everywhere with him, and literally, clinging to them.
