It's hard to get back on track if you do that for so long. But you can. Once summer is coming to and end just gradually start going to bed earlier and then getting up earlier.
Sleeping too much is not a bad thing. Your body needs sleep to not just recharge but to cleanse itself. You also don't hit the dream state until 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep. After 8 hours you fall into a deep sleep.
So no it's not unhealthy, it just bothers some people especially who are early risers or have a different sleep pattern. Enjoy it while you can :)

Your body needs to have a normal sleep cycle. Since your sleep cycle will be changing again when you go back to school, it is not very good to be staying up all night and then waking up late. Get back onto a normal cycle as soon as you can. Getting good sleep aids in a high metabolism, keeping us healthy, and helping are minds function.

You are still getting an adequate amount of sleep, so no, it's not "unhealthy". Millions of people work shifts that force them to sleep these type of hours. It is only unhealthy if you are not sleeping well or feel horrible when you are awake because of inadequate sleep. And, as the previous poster stated, it may be difficult for you to get back on schedule, but you can do so by slowly changing your schedule a couple weeks before school starts up.

Physically I don't think it will have that large of an impact on your health. However, society is set up to accommodate people who have what is considered a normal sleep schedule. This could make it very difficult if most stores are closed when you are awake or most employers expect you to work during the day.

Cause i do this to i stay up until 5am also im up now and it does get hard to go back into that pattern by falling asleep at the time you need 8hours its ok but you'll feel kinda sick by not eating breakfast or lunch cause your sleeping during those times of the day.

My husband is working graveyards (he wakes up at about 5 pm and goes to bed at 10 am), and it does mess your body up. He has had higher blood pressure and deals with stress worse when he's on this schedule then when he is on a normal shift. Listen to your Dad.

It's fine. It's like you are working on a night shift. You will be out of sync with your friends and family, is the only thing. I have lived like this for years, night shift jobs, I am healthy and well adjusted to it. Dad just wants you to live his way.

Unless you work a graveyard shift, you really should try to sleep during the night time.
During the daylight, your body produces melatonin, a hormone that regulates your sleeping patterns. You can also take melatonin suppliments, used to ward off jet-lag.

In away it's not healthy because your body repairs and rejuvenates itself during certain periods of the sleep cycle. You'll be allright though, I've been on sleep cycles like that my entire life, not by choice either. TG for computers and chats like this huh. ;-)
