I see a lot of breeders selling chihuahua's, are chihuahua's the same as tea cup chihuahua's....I'm referring to size difference when the dog is full grown.

There is no such thing as a "teacup Chihuahua" or a "miniature Chihuahua" or a "pocket Chihuahua" or a "standard Chihuahua". Un-knowledgeable breeders use these cute phrases as marketing terms to describe the different sizes that Chihuahua's come in, but these are all incorrect. There is only one Chihuahua breed ranging in sizes from 1.5 lbs up to about 10 lbs. Chihuahuas under 3 pounds are at great risk health-wise. Their bones are fragile, there is not enough room in their small mouths for proper tooth growth and their internal organs are often very weak. They tend to have a lot of health problems and have problems regulating their blood sugar levels. Often they live a few years and then their owners wake up one morning to discover that the Chihuahua has died of sudden heart or organ failure.
To make matters worse, some breeders actually charge more for these high-risk Chihuahuas. There are some breeders on the Internet taking advantage of naive buyers with $1,000-$2,000 for "teacup" Chihuahuas.

Nope. They're the regular sized ones. You have to be SPECIFIC- & ask for the "tea cup" ones- if those are the ones you want (& they're ALSO a LOT more expensive...).
