Isn't there a law that says that nothing new can be created? In order for something new to come along, something else must be changed? Silica into glass, being one of the simpler examples. A more complex example is burning paper. The paper is lost, but ashes, carbon dioxide, water, and smoke arise. The ammount of "stuff" always stays the same.
So, if this is true, then spirits can't come about. I mean, a baby can. You take a sperm and an egg, combine them, and you feed it an nourish it and it grows. The things the mother eats are eventually turned into ATP to nourish the baby, but where does the baby's spirit come from? If it just "comes about" wouldn't that break that law? Wouldn't that imbalance things, maybe even tear a hole in the universe (just being overdramatic).
After all, the laws of nature are unbreakable. No matter how hard you tell yourself you will survive a jump from a high building, if you jump, gravity will push you into the ground HARD.
What do you guys think?

arnon, if they are not part of our universe, dimension, whatever, how is it that you believe they can interact with us? they would have to come into our dimension, and that would upset the balance, wouldnt it?

Given the Amount of Mass and Pure Energy within the Universe, what makes you think that Spirits would be new? How old is this Place called The Universe? How long has "Mankind" been in it??
also, did you know that Spirit is nothing more than the Breath and the Subtle energies existing therewith...
Some theorize there is a Universal Breath or Spirit we all live within...
...Anybody up for Some Unified Field Theory?
...Or perhaps the Unity of God?
...How about the 47th Prop. of Euclid?
...Matrix Trivia?
...Order of the Phoenix Trivia?
THE POINT is, No matter how you describe it, Mankind is United and One...all interdependent upon one another for survival. You can call it Nature, Religion, Physics, Mathematics, etc.

Why we worry to answer question which are least concern. If we dont wake up does the Sun will not rise. Is it matters. We must concern our things and that helps you in finding right knowledge. In this world mainly there are 2 or 3 religion which people follow now for more than 1000 years. Is that we find out the truth ourselves and follow the right one. Is that not that easy instead to find who created who etc. For God when it says be it and it's there. Dont agree tell me how much light coming from the Sun and who is paying for it. No one my dear its GOD. tell me who is giving food even to animals that we dont know living in Forests, certainly we not its GOD.
Go and find the truth.

Yeah, you're thinking is a bit off. First off, that "law" is referring to matter. Spirits are intangible and are not made up of matter.
Second of all, the source of all matter is energy, as Albert Einstein proved with his E=mcsquared eformula. Didn't you ever read in Isaiah 40:26 which says God created things by means of his dynamic energy? Interesting that a 2,700 year old book says that energy is made up of matter, huh?

Do you think things out before you ask questions?
Spirits or souls or angels are not physical beings. They are not made up of matter or energy. They are not a part of the physical universe that we sense with our physical faculties.
Try some non-linear, 3 dimensional thought.
Dude, if you don't believe in spiritual beings, fine and dandy. You asked what we thought.
Basically I think you are full of yourself and that is putting it nicely.

I'm on your side and everything, but the idea of the conservation of mass only applies to physical matter, and spirits, which i assure you i dont believe in' are supposed to 'supernatural', they get an instant dismissal from logic and reasoning.

the law of gravity by Sir Isaac Newton was changed by Albert Einstein. But my theory is that either spirit is natural or it doesn't exist for we live in a natural world and our senses are natural as well.

Equivalent exchange works differently with souls. They aren't actually "created" (they don't pop up out of nowhere), they simply come from "elsewhere." When a person is born, a soul is taken from this other place and becomes that person, inversely, when a person dies, it returns to that place. Of course, this is just one theory, but it's the one I like the sound of the most.

All that demonstrates is that spirits do not fall within the purview of science, and therefore are not subject to the laws of science. Which is correct.

The spirit is the Life force.Energy can change form but not be destroyed.
You weigh a piece of paper before and after burning there will be a difference.
I can change water into steam and ice ,the weight will differ.
