Again Officers and Soldiers answered the call when they were not called.

People expect Officers and Soldiers to put themselves in harms way. It's their Job. That's what they expect of us. They never stop to think that these Officers were Out Of State and Off Duty. Or that the Soldiers were on leave and not in a war zone. But they still did the job that is expected of them. Bravo!!!

This story did not make front page like a Police Abuse case would. Why, because it's not as news worthy as the Abuse case. The people of today like Drama and an Officer doing his job is not drama. An Officer breaking the law is Drama.

Think you for bringing a good Police/Soldier news story to light so that more can see it.

This happened in Los Vegas. Lots of people with cameras standing around, but the video has not made it to the news or youtube yet? Just more proof that people don't care to see police doing a good job. Had the Officers and Soldiers been drunk and abusing people in Los Vegas though I bet there would be multiple camera views showing all angles of the abuse.

No - it doesn't fit in with their hate rhetoric.
God forbid that police officers be shown in their true light as the heroes that they really are.
By the way, Nevada has strict CCW laws even for police officers, so I can tell you that the out of town police officers probably weren't carrying weapons when they tackled that shooter. Try running up on an armed psycho without a weapon sometime.
I doubt that any of the haters in here would have the cajones for that.

I don't ever recalling anyone saying "every cop is evil". But they are like everything else, it only takes a few to give the entire group a bad name.
Most police officers are decent, hard-working, honest people. Its just the small percentage that screw it up for the rest of them

And of course, all the cop haters on here have no retort for this story. If any of those great Americans would have been on scene, they would have cowered in fear behind the 75 year old woman at the slots machine. Then they would have run home, jumped online, and bitched about how the off duty officers, soldier, and sailor used excessive force.

I'm sure that story pi**** off a few people. Pretty damn good, wasn't it?.
Now get ready for at least half a dozen anti Police stories.
