He's also the one that blew it for his team when he was caught speeding on pit row/road [and he shoulda won that race]. . . Other pit crews make mistakes but he's the only one that complains till he's blue in the face . . . I think he's just disappointed b/c his rookie year was just so phenomenal and his team has slipped up a couple of times this year . . . He would probably be leading the points right now w/o all the mistakes and negativity.

I have heard a few race interviews that I personally do not like, I mean him blaming his crew over and over isnt good, and then during the race last night when he wrecked Tony, and then Tony said "He just stopped on the exit of turn 4, and he expects 42 other guys to just go around him, and I know he is young and wants to be successful, but I dont think he knows what the definition of team means." Then they interviewed Denny and he said "Its really hard to blame anyone but if Tony wants to blame it on me thats fine, I will just be the bigger man and take responsibility for my actions, and he's been in this sport alot longer then I have and probably knows alot more then I do. So we'll just leave it at that."

Where do you get off saying that to Tony, I mean seriously, saying that Tony isnt man enough to take responsibility for his actions? I seriously think their is going to be words between them, and Denny tried spinning Tony out during practice on Friday I guess, and thats another comment that Tony made. I just think that Denny needs to stop complaining and sometimes luck doesnt fall your way, and you need to stop blaming your crew for every little mistake that you have. It gets really old.

I heard other drivers whine a lot more than Denny has, so I don't consider Denny a whiner, yet. Some of the people on here whine more than Jeff, Jimmie, or Tony well I wouldn't call him a whiner, he complains a lot but he doesn't sound whiney when he does like the other two. But who cares they are all great drivers!!

I dont think he is a cry baby. I think he is 1 of the most talented drivers on the circuit, he ranks with Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart. He is still very young and has alot to learn about politics in motorsports top series. Its not like he is throwing tantrums and hiding in his motorhome after he wrecks his car like some other young drivers do.

I don't think he's a crybaby, I think he has a lot to learn about how to treat people. The driver is the spokesman for the team -- when was the last time you saw the TV people interview a tire changer? -- and when the crew messes up Hamlin needs to say "We had some problems today, but we're going to work on them" instead of "My crew messed up and cost me the win." Now he's got a win and he STILL didn't have anything nice to say about his crew. Note to Denny: People respond better to praise of their virtues than to criticism of their flaws.

I like the way Hamlin drives, I just wish he could be paired with a mature mentor like Mark Martin. Instead he has "Tantrum" Stewart showing him how it's done.

Have you heard any of his post race interviews? He constantly blames others including his pit crew. NASCAR is all about team work. Rather than talking about what they can do better like Mark Martin, Hes quick to point the finger and bash his own crew on camera. He should stop crying and come up with a solution.

Because he is. Just like Rusty Wallace was and still is. You got to call a spade, a spade. He thinks he should win every race and if he don't, he puts the blame on his crew or another driver. The only reason he won last week was because Gordon raced him CLEAN. He is a BRAT.

Yeah he is. I used to like the guy, but I think he hung around with Tony Stewart a little too long. And the way he sold out his teammates will never be forgotten in my book.

I do not think he is a cry baby. He complained when his pit crew screwed things for him, and not just once. In line for the win a couple times and the pit crew screws it for ya, that is enough to make anyone complain.

His style is like several other top drivers.
Both in and out of the car.
