I totally agree with what judy_b has said. What you speak of is the William Bates Method : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Bates
This method, in my opinion, is trash. So far, eye exercises and nutritional factors are still unable to prove that they improve eyesight in terms of reduction in ammetropia.
However, there are some experimental techniques in the market like NeuroVision which you may consider as alternative treatment.. though I'm not advocating it as yet.
However, the Singapore National Eye Centre has expressed great interest in using this technology in a bid to curb rapidly progressing myopia rates in Singapore children. http://www.snec.com.sg/news/press_100604a.asp

If you mean can you do eye exercises so that you no longer need glasses:
Despite what you may read on internet sites trying to sell you books, tapes, pills or whatever, no exercises, pills, foods, supplements or devices have ever been shown to be effective for this. Do not spend any money on these things.

Don't sit at a computer too long, take a break every half hour and look at objects that are far away. That's something I never did. I'm blind as a bat.
