For people who actually believe in the bible:?

Question

The bible says the Earth was created in 7 days. How did the writers know this if no humans existed then? It says Adam and Eve were the first people. How did they know this? People are going to say it was god. How do you know that god exists? Where is there any proof at all for his exsistence.

I knew everyone was going to say that god told them to do it or he inspired it. So, how do you know this? How do you know they didn't make it up?

Does it really matter how many days? People just say it was wrong, they don't answer the question.

Several questions here. Your question about the earth's creation is on point. The Adam and Eve story is false, as we know from genetic evidence. There is no reason to believe that any sort of god exists, let alone has any interest or influence on human affairs. There are numerous other errors in the bible.

it supposes for the Lord seven days could be thousand of centuries or days ect.. that's said a psalm.. so Lord didnt create the earth in seven days.. it's a metaphor.. adam and eve were supposing to be the first humans.. I think they were the first humans.. I can accept the darwin theory but my own opinion adam and eve were the first humans totally without look like a monkey and proof of God.. I can't proof God but neither I can tell there is God

Well, the Bible says in Genesis that God talked to Adam and Eve, like when He brought the animals to Adam to name, when He came in the cool of the evening after they had sinned. God had fellowship with them both, so it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume that God would have told them of creation, and that knowledge was passed down till the time of Moses.. Also, those who wrote the Bible were inspired of God to do so. He could have revealed it to them by the Holy Spirit. I don't know. But I do believe the Bible to be true. I don't have to know every little detail--I trust God and His word.

The first 5 books of the Bible were written by Moses, but totally inspired by God. Remember Moses spent much time with God and God give Moses the words to write down. Moses trusted God and Wrote what God Gave him.

Also the lineage is written down in that book, people knew their origins, you can check it out in the fist books. IT was a long time an oral tradition taught to children, their lineage back to Adam and Eve. For generations and generations they learned this by heart.

By the way, if you are realy sincere to know if God realy is, (not just to spend time disproving that He is) but if you realy want to know, cry out to Him, sincerely, and He will show you... if you're sincere! Then, will you believe?

God gave them visions....and told them what to say. and no one can give you an answer to prove once and for all that God exists, you have to have faith. but I always tell people to look at the Universe, and our planet...we are in the most perfect spot to keep it at temperatures to sustain life, and if we were even 1 fraction of an inch to one side or the other we would be out of wack, it would just be total chaos... That to me, says we are here because of God.. nothing else could do that.

Here's a proof that I know bible its so true. I was born to christian parents but dint believe all bible stories and mostly it was on my mind as stories. I dint want to go to church, I slept in family prayer, actually all religious activities were very boring to me. But when I faced any problem with friends whom I was close to or suffered with loss of love that I dint recieve(due) to circumstances, I cry and ask God to help me. Then few days later, I will feel well as if nothing happened. But in my teens I was getting into worser addictions and bad habits, little bit of jealousy and pride and though I dont like2b selfish, sometimes it poped up, etc,etc. Then after marraige I was punished for my sin. I cudn't think it was God, though I suffered, I continued to sin, again I was punished severly. I had a cyst and cudn't walk, the pain was terrible. My husband carried me to hospital. When I recovered, I knew God was angry with my behaviour, I made up my mind not to repeat my secret sin. I was tempted and fought against my temptation, but God helped me overcome. I am glad I could overcome. Then years later, just as Jesus told in bible, I received Holy Spirit, Jesus had promised His followers. I was surprised that all was true. Though many questions were there about God, Jesus and heavenly bodies and spirits, I am so sure that He exists and bible is true.
Even though what I write to u is of no value to you, remember God when u have a problem u cannot solve, but our creator could :)

answer to # 2 Proof of God is greater than evolution.
Better check your modern science facts and not the 20th century nonscience that has been debunked by the 21st century science.

Actually, according to the Bible, the earth---and everything in it---was created in 6 days because on the 7th God rested and admired his handiwork. However, I'm not going to argue the rest of this question because there is really no point, is there? You have your beliefs and I have mine---

hmm, better re-read your bible cause God created the heavens and the earth and all that was in it in 6 days, and rested on the 7th. Besides if its in the bible I don't second guess it, it is by faith not by sight.
