I use shampoo as body wash. Much more gentler to your skin.

OH NO! They may look the same but there is a big difference. Using body washes on your hair will eventually put a film all over your hair causing it to get oily and filled with build-up! It's better just to use a shampoo meant for your hair type.

Not really. Body wash can be pretty harsh on your hair. Also, using shampoo as a body wash does not work well at getting rid of body odors.

No shampoo is meant specifically for your hair. Body wash can be used all over. I don't know the specifics, but shampoo typically has a better formula mixture as to not dry out your hair.

No shampoos and body washes are developed with different ph levels also shampoos are thicker and stronger to help cling to the hair shaft body washes are more delicate as to not clog pores or damage your skin

No!! Europeans try to sell "body wash" that is designed for your hair, too. It never works as well as true shampoo and conditioner. The pH is wrong---it strips your hair.
You can use shampoo to wash your body, though.

NO! Shampoo is specifically designed for the hair and body wash for the body. However, in some cases if you had to use body wash in your hair (or vise-versa) it would not be damaging or hurting your hair.

If I like the smell of the shampoo, I use it as a body wash. I love the Suave coconut shampoo so I use that from time to time. The conditioner is also good for if you are shaving your legs and don't have any shaving gel. It makes a good substitute.

No. a normal body wash will mess up your hair. but Paul Mitchell makes a shampoo called "Awapuhi" and it works as both a rich shampoo and body wash. it goes great with Paul Mitchell's "The Conditioner"
