there's always a way to recover data, but it won't be easy and unless you are a data recovery expert, it will be expensive. So the simple answer is, no.

but i DO know that that information IS in fact still stored on our hard drive

where it is? i dunno
how do find it? got me

but it is there...somewhere.....
