Money and wealth have no meaning they are neutral energy it is what you do with them that creates the charge. Spirituality has absolutely nothing to do with material wealth.
"The Bible says it is harder for a camel to fit through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to go to heaven."
This only means that wealthy people have a more difficult time traveling and finding the spiritual path because they are distracted by material wealth, it does not mean it is impossible to do so.

God Bless you for your question...
Let me ask you this...you give $520k a year to a church, you personally have homeless shelters in NYC, LA, SD, and Chicago...That's very good, but what have you done for the Lord lately?
Is all you do is give money? Do you give your time to the Church you give the money to? Do you spend time with the homeless at your shelters? Do you give your money out of guilt and shame for how you earned it? Would you rather just give money or do you really want to help others?
Are you willing to walk away from your $5mil/year job if the Lord called you?
I don't know you from Adam...but this is what the Lord meant when He talked about the rich man and the camel...He meant that when push comes to shove, rich men place more importance in their wealth than in God. When Jesus told the pious young man to sell everything he had and follow Him, the young man walked away dejected...Is that you?

God doesn't judge you for the money you have or don't. Being rich is not a bad thing. The reason it says that its because most rich people make their money the most important thing and are soooo concern with it they become greedy and the more money they have the more they want. Just as being rich and giving to the poor won't give you a ticket to heaven either. Some people seem to think that if the give they "earn points" with God. That is a very generous thing to do, to give to others but what counts is if you do it coming from your heart. At the end of the day what us Christians believe is the only way to God is by Jesus. No amount of good works will give you a ticket to heaven. But when you do it for the right reasons its a big blessing. You will be blessed back for blessing others. But remember to do it when it comes from the right place.

Don't care, you don't really need to give so much money to the church to be a "good christian". It's not just a question of income (or it would be too easy !). If you really earn so much money, just try to be a good manager with your employees (or are you a "golden boy" of the Financial district ?) and avoid the different traps that threat rich peoples. Don't forget the most important : you cannot buy feelings and love !
Anyway, God has really a lot to do and he's not Big brother ! The universe is so large...

The verses you speak of are Matthew chapter 19 verse24 but if you go on to read verse 26 Jesus says "With men this is impossible but with God all things are possible. You have to agree most rich men find little time to attend church or give thanks to God for their wealth. But being rich is not a sin and the only thing that cost you your salvation is lack of faith. Anyone who accepts Christ as their personal savior will be saved and money doesn't manner. An a needle he refer to was a low doorway made for people to walk thru but were very hard to get a camel thru.

I'm a Christian too. No, God does not judge you on how much money you have. He loves you and he forgives you if you did him any wrong. Just believe in him. Have faith and continue to do good. You said you earn $5,000,000 a year, so maybe you can donate a generous amount to help the homeless, needy and abandoned children. You're a Good person. God Bless!

My brother God loves a cheerful giver. God will judge those who never truly gave their life to Jesus Christ as there Lord and Savior of all there sins till the day they die to face God. The christian on the other hand have been forgiven of all there sins from past, present and future God will judge us christians for only our works (Telling the lost about Jesus Christ and what he did for them by taking our sins with Him on the cross) so still you the rich man need to tell the lost out in this world about the true real savior.
EVERY IN HELL BELIEVES IN GOD
ARE YOU BORN AGAIN!!!

Okay. I'll assume your story is true. In an case, it's an analogy. In Jesus's time, Jerusalem had walls surrounding the entire city. You had to enter the city through gates shaped like keyholes. When riding through the gates on a camels back, the camels had to stoop their heads in order to enter the city. So, the moral of the story is...one must be prepared. That is all, my friend. If you don't believe what I tell you, check out theological history.

No, God doesn't judge people on the money they have. Accept the money you have as a blessing and keep on helping others, as much as possible, and never feel guilty for what you have, because you have what God thinks is appropriate for you in this life. Don't get too attached to money though. Be sure you will one day leave everything behind and the only thing that matters is the spiritual things.
Peace!

Well... you CAN have riches and follow God both. If you're rich, and the money has made you haughty.. then, that's exactly what Jesus meant. Lose it or go to hell. If you follow God's word to the letter, and always try to better yourself every single day, and try to spread His word to every person you meet... keep the money. Money ITSELF is not a sin. Jesus never said that, nor did the Father. What is a sin... is coveting, stealing, lying, murder, idolatry, all the 10 commandments. Point out to me on that... that says having a lot of money is a sin. Personally... Guess what I get a year? 6 thousand dollars a year. I eat ONE meal a day so my children can eat. Give your money to the people who need it. Don't stick them into homeless shelters. That still does NOT ensure their future. Giving 10 thousand bucks to a church does NOT help people who need it badly. It only pays a pastor who is already living comfortably. How stupid is that... I quit church because of that. Help people personally, face to face. That's the best use of your money, other than providing for your own needs (not frivolous stuff, of course.) Money isn't a sin, don't worry. Being a Scrooge is!
