My man, cheese and rice, got his account suspended because he revealed the truth about mormons. Are people really that scared that believing mormons will see the light?

Possibly. The only hate mail I have ever received has been from Mormons. I have answered questions honestly (I was a church member as a youngster) and have given first hand information about my experiences and why I left. I can't think of too many other churches who thumb down posters just because they had honest doubts and shared them when asked. It reinforces the fact that I made the right decision!

Maybe cheese and rice got suspended for posting a soap box rant video full of innacuracies. Never having been a Catholic or Muslim, those parts of the video could be 100% made up for all I know. The Mormon section resembled the actual story - much like Oliver Stone's World Trade Center resembled what actually happened on Spetember 11. After all, he was there, wasn't he? So he would know.
Exactly like the author of this video knows everything about religious canon.
As ignorant as I find most religious people, what is even more ignorant is an athiest thinking that he can put together a 10 minute cartoon with a very unpleasant sounding narrarator and convinve every religious person in the world that their beliefs are false.
Most, if not all religion is false. People have practiced it for, oh, I don't know... 5,000+ years? What little accurate information that was presented in this video is NOT news. You would have to be completely delusional to think that a poorly slapped together timewaster will settle the age old God vs. no God argument.

It's got to be something other than "revealing theh truth about Mormons" because I don't believe he really knows any truths about Mormons. Besides, there are others who have "revealed truth" about Mormons and haven't been suspended, that I know of.
BTW, this Mormon HAS seen the light, and that's why she's Mormon! :-)

Cheese and Rice's B*..., people can't handle the truth and are full of hate. If you say your a jew on here, you get the thumbs down....if you say anything about a muslim, you know, the guys cutting off peoples heads over in Iraq, you get chided for that too. People simply can't handle the truth and are full of hatred.

I've been suspended many times and the Mormons here have never been the problem, in my experience. It's always the fundies and the Evangelicals.

Suspension comes from using force and or cruel tactics to bring your point across. We are all entitled to our views on religion, though we cannot force those views on everyone else, we need to let them follow the path that they have laid for themselves. I think it is wonderful to see someone come into the light of Islam, though I am not going to put someone else down for being a Christian, Jew, or whatever faith they feel is right for them. I will however gladly submit my answer in response to a question about a topic that I am knowledgeable in and insha Allah it will help them to understand another point of view. There is more to it that what you are assuming. They don't just delete accounts for no reason, and revealing truth about a certain religion is not a good reason to delete someones account. Unless of course, the message was one of hatred rather than truth telling.

If "telling the truth" includes breaking some of the Community Guidelines (which says you can't post a "soap box" rant as a question), then it shouldn't be any surprise.

I don't know but the community guide lines although maybe not perfect beat the alternative of none at all .Sorry for your account suspension. some one may have really raised a stink but like I said I wasn't really there.
