Run of the mill Turkish Mauser. Most vary in their quality from poor to good. Very rarely is one very good or excellent. Next is that they are all reworked guns, the Turks didn't actually make them (other than the barrel), so a Turk mauser could be a reworked German or Czech Mauser . I was told once that these were the old mausers with the .318 bore and then had a new barrel added to bring them up to .323.

A few years ago you could snag all you wanted for $50-60 a piece. They are still plentiful in private sale and at gun stores, but I don't currently know an online vendor. I would say you could get maybe upto $100-120 if you had something nice. Less or more varying by how good the finish and bore is.

I have one I paid 85 for at a garage sale; refinished the stock and replaced the extractor; it has a rough barrel but still shoots extremely well. Sportsmans Guide had some they were selling a couple months ago for 229.00. The turkish mauser is a polygot collection from many sources; but demonstrates how tough and long lasting the mauser is. Paul Mauser's brainchild has had over one hundred million manufactured, and just about every bolt action rifle made since 1900 is based on his action. Google up Turkish Mauser and enlarge your knowledge database; it made for some interesting reading. Regards.
