The world is fine -- it's the people that make me feel like leaving the theater before the play's over.

I think it is true to an extent. If your caught up in the emotion of anything (especially turmoil in your personal life) we as human beings tend to see only the tragedy in those moments.
It's not until you can detach from the emotions and begin thinking about what ever event is taking place that you begin to make changes.
Being optimistic about those things coupled with the ability to rationalize can help you see the comedy in (almost) anything.

God is a comedian playing to an audience too afraid to laugh.
— Voltaire (1694-1778)
Forgive, O Lord, my little jokes on Thee
And I'll forgive Thy great big one on me.
— Robert Frost
Man is a creature who spends his entire life in an attempt to convince himself that he is not absurd.
— Albert Camus
There are certain queer times and occasions in this strange mixed affair we call life when a man takes this whole universe for a vast practical joke, though the wit thereof he but dimly discerns, and more than suspects that the joke is at nobody's expense but his own.
— Herman Melville, (1819-1891); Moby Dick
To all things clergic I am allergic.
— Alexander Woollcott
I cannot see how a man of any large degree of humorous perception can ever be religious -- except he purposely shut the eyes of his mind and keep them shut by force.
— Mark Twain (1835-1910)
Religion supposed Heaven and Hell, the word of God, and sacraments, and twenty other circumstances which, taken seriously, are a wonderful check to wit and humour.
— Jonathan Swift
The total absence of humour in the Bible is one of the most singular things in all literature
— Alfred North Whitehead

Wow wo wo Just a minute. It is just happened to me.
Yesterday , I went to a wedding ; It was my cousin's wedding party. I was happy to go (feels), because I know that I was going to meet some other cousins as well which long time not see (think)
But....what surprising me was, there were lots of my school &uni friends there .
And it was more amusing (feeling) because I DIDN'T THINK I would meet them.
The party was really make me happy. (comedy). And I dont think anything ...almost, we were just feeling happy.
What about that ????
I remember you too. Stucked in my memory.....you're the one who lead me to open www.terebess.hu
Reading it, .....just bang to laugh or happy ....That's feeling, and that's beyond thaught.
Its more comedy there then doing exam or thinking why and how.
So, why dont you THINK again.......hahaha.....maybe you get the answer. But dont be surprise if you're find that you are not feeling happy after you think . Or just go to the kitchen (you dont need to think where it is), open your fridge and take what you like(you dont need to think what you like), eat it. Are you feeling happy? Or ....do you have to think first before you decide that you're happy.
Wow .....that's the minute I ask you to wait. Bye2

Here to help you
It seems to me you are hurting inside and are trying to reach out to those who feel the same as you do (under the guise of a quote). Hurting people hurt other people. Feelings of love and anger are normal for people to experience. Some people refuse to love for fear of getting hurt again so the isolate or shut themselves off from the world. They laugh at disaster and tragedy for fear of being uncovered by someone who can really see their bleeding heart. As you begin to think your way through life realize that loving your way through will bring you the most happiness
1 John 3:14 (NIV) We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death.

And to those who Know it is just God illusory energy and everyone is sleeping under Mayas spell in their waking dream. Wake up sleeping souls, you are sleeping in the lap of the witch called Maya. Chanting the Maha Mantra is the quickest way to wake up from this spell of illusion and end all suffering and false comedy. Read Bhagavad Gia as it is by Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada tells all.on linr asitis.com write me for the link with full details on the mantra.

There is some logic to that.
Negative feelings may arise....but the mind knows these feelings are temporary, so positive thoughts will allow the negative feelings to pass, without resistance more quickly.
Positive feelings need not be resisted....the mind knows that Love and Joy and Bliss....is all there is.
Ultimately there is no tragedy....lest thinking it make it so.

I think that is true and the most sensitive of people have both in their lives. The masks of tragedy and comedy are much like yin and yang.

Well call me crazy, but it seems to me like my thoughts and feelings kinda go together. Therefore I know that the world is both. Yin and Yang, alpha and omega...alla that.
