Sounds like side effects. I wouldn't take anymore and call your doctor as soon as you can.

Call your doctor and tell them of your symptoms. This is quite common with SSRI's when the dose is increased. Also, Prozac is know to cause severe anxiety and activation in many people. One of the side effects of the drug as well. That is why doctors do not use Prozac as a first line treatment for anxiety. It is one of the most stimulating drugs on the market.

The racing is the activation of Prozac. You feel energized, you cannot stop your thoughts, your mind and heart are racing. That is what we call severe activation. Prozac is really used for depression where the patient is so tired they cannot get out of bed.

The side effects may go away, or they may not.

Also keep in mind, if you develop these issues with anti-depressants there could be an issue with Bi-polar disorder. If you are bi-polar, Prozac could very well cause this side effect. But, just because you have this side effect does not mean you are bi-polar.

Talk you your DOCTOR ASAP and let them guide the course of your treatment.

it is quite common, once you have effectively dealt with depression using a med, the underlying anxiety comes out. Sounds like you may be experiencing anxiety disorder that was suppressed by the depression. So before you blame the Prozac, talk to your doctor about the possibility of an underlying anxiety disorder.

Not personally but there are so freaking many possible side effects that its scary. Your dose is way to high! These symptoms can be life threatening, stop taking this high dose
immediately! Look for alternatives or a different prescribed drug.
