My question is, have you ever heard of worm fits? Not my dog has them . I was at the vets office today and heard it mentioned and I asked about it, I was just wondering if anyone else heard of it?

I'd never heard that term but I did a quick Google search to see what that turned up. I found 'worm fits' mentioned on an old medical terminology page: "WORM FIT - convulsions associated with teething, worms, high temperature or diarrhea"
And: "A condition in puppies called "worm fits" can begin during heavy infestations with intestinal worms. The exact cause of the seizures is unknown. Perhaps it is due to a low blood sugar or serum calcium."

A heavy infestation of worms can cause seizures - also known as worm fits. It is totally preventable and there is no excuse for it happening.

Yes I have. It's sounds horrible! I've never personally seen it, but I remember my Grandmother mentioning it a time or two.

I have heard of it. But i don't think it causes seizures... You can check on google and figure it out. But it is probably is caused by fleas. Thats what i heard... Good luck!
