Of course!! Why not, if you like each other!! There are definately still some ignorant assinine back woods cousin marrying inbreds who are against it but ...SO.??!!!
Just realize that you will most likely be subjected to hearing those opinions sometimes when you are in public. You will have a few more potential stresses to deal w/ then same race couples so you just work a little harder if its what you want. I do think that it tends to be hard on the children of mixed couples if they are (for example)"too light" to be black or "too dark" to be white, or if they have predominately black features but are white skinned, or the opposite, because as cruel as kids can sometimes bethe children are at risk of not being accepted from either side . Or they may just feel like they don't "fit in" . But I think that really depends on the childs personality and character. I think if they are brought up to be secure confident and non-judgemental then they may not even give it a second thought! so any way , yah, its ok!!

Yes it is. This is the 21st century and the times have changed since the Civil War and the abolition of slavery. There are many interracial couples in this world. When the Spanish settlers came to Mexico, some Spaniards married many of the Indians. Today, Mexicans have a mix of both Spanish and Indians and were descendants of both.

Only if you choose to have children and if you can stand up to the pressures of having people stare at you. With regards to children, just remember they will be osterized, as will you be in many instances.

Each race has its differences and to bring two races together will be a never ending struggle for both of you. And your parents? How do they feel?

You just might want to sit down and take a serious look at the ramifications you will experience as a bi-racial couple. Although your love may be as strong as strong can be, but with time, all marriages settle down to becoming real-life journeys, so you need to look beyond the stars you might be seeing now with a black girl and try to imagine how difficult your life might well be if you enter into a bi-racial marriage.
Good luck.

You and only you could decide on this matter. For some people it's not acceptable, but it's not their life or decision to make. If you really love her....Marry her, and i am a expert on this subject for i am a white South African from the apartheid years. Nothing against black women but i would not marry a black woman, but if i meet one and fell in love, nothing will stop me. It's my life and remember LOVE CONCUR EVERYTHING! Good luck on your decision!

Why do you ask? Are you in this situation and want to know how people will react? If that is the case then you do NOT love her the way you should! I would like to think that in this day and age this question would not need to be asked. But we all know that it still has to be!If that man and woman is secure with who they are and their love for one another then by all means, get MARRIED!
