I have a new LG cu500v. I was reading about the phone and found that I can set voice recordings as ringtones, but it doesn't tell me how to. THe voice records are saved in a ".amr" format. When I go to save as a ringtone, the phone tells me it's an invalid format. Does anyone know how to save the recordings as ringtones?

If there's a voice recorder, you use that to record what you want it to say and it will prompt you to save it to the phone; then go to your ringtones menu, and you should see an option to "get new" and you can navigate through to find that voice recording.

I did it >2 years ago on my LG VX8000, I have my son's voice saying, "Your Son" when he calls or texts me... it freaks people out. I don't know if it makes any difference, but mine is on Verizon, so the software may be setup differently than other carriers.
