IF God created the Universe he created all the laws that govern the universe, let's focus on planet earth.
When he created the earth he created it in a way in which EVENTUALLY in time we will have EARTHQUAKES. An earthquake is caused by tectonic plates getting stuck and putting a strain on the ground. The strain becomes so great that rocks give way by breaking and sliding along fault planes .
Now God made the earth , Christains love to make the excuse that we have all the diseases and earthquakes because Adam and Eve ate a fruit, disobeyed God, HE HAD ALREADY MADE THE EARTH IN A WAY WE WILL BE SUBJECTED TO EARTHQUAKES ,AND OTHER NATURAL DISASTERS BEFORE ADAM AND EVE DID ANYTHING, SO WHO IS TO BLAME FOR THE EARTHQUAKES AND ALL THE NATURAL DISASTER ????

THE POINT IS THAT SIN CANNOT BE USED AS AN EXCUSE HERE, BECAUSE GOD CREATED THE EARTH FIRST .

In my opinion, ultimate power means ultimate responsibility. According to Christians, god is omniscient or all-knowing. If he is the creator, he really did know about it all before it happened. My question is this: then what the h*** is the point? What kind of power hungry god is this one that Christians serve? That entire line of thought is so depressing to me when I think of all the people throughout history who have died from natural disasters, in truth then, at the hand of "god." It makes me angry and disgusted. My life is much happier and content knowing that I am not basing my existence on a god. It is much easier for me to cope with plate tectonics and global warming effects on planet earth that cause natural disasters then an almighty god that created the circumstances for it to happen and allows it to happen.

There are things that we know, and things that we don't know.
First, the Bible tells us that it has everything in that we need to know for life and Godliness.
Genesis 1:31 tells us "And God saw everything that the had made, and, behold, it was very good."
Neither of us have any proof that the tectonic plates had any friction or strain whatsoever in the beginning, and since I believe the Bible, and the Bible says that EVERYTHING God made was VERY GOOD, I don't believe this is how God made the earth; I agree with you that the current friction between the plates ISN'T VERY GOOD.
Prior to the great flood that you apparently don't believe in, there is no Biblical mention of rain. Many Bible scholars believe that the earth was upright on its axis, and that earth itself was watered by a heavier morning dew than we now have.
In fact, there is Biblical evidence the THE OPPOSITE of what you say is true:
Pro 8:28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep.
When the great flood occured, and the "fountains of the great deep were opened up"; Gen 7:11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
The earth tilted on its axis, and the tectonic plates began to have friction; and eventually earthquakes as you state.
Apostle Paul may allude to this and certainly myriad other problems in nature when he wrote in Romans:
Rom 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
So the fault of all natural disasters since the beginning is the fault of sin. While you are ROFL, explain how thousands of FISH fossils got on Mount Everest and numerous other unlikely places around the world.
While you're still ROFL, I would like to remind you that receding flood waters from A GLOBAL FLOOD explain the formation of the Grand Canyon and lots of other things secular geologists are baffled by such as the formation of coal. Do you remember being taught in school that coal is formed by burying a forest under tons of pressure and millions of years? Well, guess what happened in May of 1980? Mt. St. Helens erupted!! Oh but god didn't make the universe or the earth and earthquakes are scientifically explained, i dont see the pope telling us why w have earthquakes lol, if you're a devout believer then i think you should take a step back and look at the facts, the bible says the world is only 6,000 years old where as carbon dating can date backto about 400 million years ago.

If god made the universe then who made god? No one that's why God is called the creator.

Actually earth changed after Noah. But what do you mean by "IF". God created. Man is suppose to take care of earth and yet we fail and in the process destory ecosystem causing problems also. Man's polution right now is destorying the Ozone layer. How about causing erosions because of building. So blaming God for everything is not the answer my friend.

The "blame" placed on Adam and Eve is based on the fact that the direct communication with God was lost. Because of their error of not obeying God, as directed, we became susceptible to all of these things. While all of this might very well have been in place to begin with, our susceptibility to them became a major issue because we are still pretty much powerless to control them.

HAHAAHAHHA best question in the last week. You are ******** right. Anyway science has explained everything that happened from the billionth part of a second after the bigbang till this day, so even if god existed, as stephen hawking says, he hasn't intevenued in its creating, which makes his existance futale.

About the firat billionth part of the first second, we will probably have the answer in the near future - Caveman couldn't explain somethin as trivial as the sunrise, so in 1000 years people will probably laugh when they read about as wondering what happened.

God created the world perfectly in the beginning, but when sin entered the world, it corrupted the entire world. Sin is what caused the disruption of God's originally perfect creation.

Natural disasters happen when a group of people (a whole city for instance) are collectively sinning together. God uses the natural disaster to kill some of them off and to break the spirit of pride in others.

If god created the Universe, He's trying his best to kill us. Sonic waves from the sun, tsunami, earthquakes, tornado's, meteors, flash floods, floods, Mud slides, land slides, sun spots, radiation, volcano's, acid rain, comets, the list goes on.
