I met this guy on the 4th of July when I was seeing fireworks at a neiborhood park with my brother. He came over and started talking to me and asking me my name and everything. So we kept talking and talking, then I asked him did he have a girlfriend and he said yes! UGH!!! I could tell that I liked him from the get-go but he has a girlfriend and I don't want him to! He was talking about her and describing how she had blue eyes, blond hair and was really cool and he kept going on and on about his girlfriend. He even showed me a pic of her that he had in his wallet...she was gorgeous. I was really impressed and started to feel a little jealousy coming on. He asked if I had a boyfriend and I lied and said yes because I didn't wanna feel like a nerd!!! How could I get to know him better and possibly become his NEW girlfriend? and...how could I stop being jealous of his girlfriend?

You can't just get rid of feelings like that. First off, you should learn how to be friends with someone of the opposite sex. That way if you're interested and they turn out to be taken, you can ease your feelings into a friendliness and not a physical attraction.

he feels that you are his friend very near like sister where he should tell everything which is in his mind. don't be jealous about his girlfriend, meet her and treat her as your friend, enjoy the relationship. if your girl friend, you must have it, and she has got boyfriend like him, will you be jelous about her. love is not possesion but to care and share the feeling.
