I am a breeder and if the fleas get that bad I have bathed 2 week old pups with no problem.
Just be careful not to get it in the eyes or ears

They are way to young for all this toxic stuff to use on them. Especially buying the cheap stuff from the stores. They don't work to begin with. Take them to the vet and he will take care of the fleas, the worms and whatever else may be wrong with them.

By the way get your dog spayed. You have no clue about breeding. And breeding a pit bull!!!!!!! What the heck is wrong with you.

Pits are the first to be put down in shelters and are the most dominant in some areas.

Why the hell are you bringing yet another litter of dogs into this world especially pits. You ain't got a brain in your head.

Your nothing but a backyard breeder trying to make a buck of f of your pet (if you even treat it as such)

Get you dog spayed for crying out loud. UGH!!!!!!!!!!

Your puppies are still way to young to bathe they are only 4 weeks, you need to bring them to the vet and find out from them what to use.. you bathe your puppies now you might end up with puppy colds, or something worse :( they get a chill and you never know what is going to happen. You really need to talk to your vet, also your puppies will have tape worms because of the fleas and IF, your puppies haven't been dewormed at all yet, your puppies will have other types of worms too..

why do they have fleas so bad? aren't they inside dogs?

Good luck

How come your puppies have fleas??? You should go to the vet and get the proper stuff for such young puppies. They shouldn't have fleas already :( But if they have fleas, then they are likely full of worms too.. So go to the vet and get their worms taken care of, fleas taken care of, and while you're there you'll want to discuss their vaccination schedule and spaying and neutering.
I wouldn't just go ahead and bath them... Get something from the vet.. Odds are if you bath them, they are still going to have fleas, will still have their worms and still need the vet anyhow.

Call your local vet for tips. If there is a 24 hour ER Animal Hospital, they can give you tips as well. Just for fun web site www.dogster.com

Bathing pups is not a good idea. Pups cannot regulate their body temp. well, so the best thing to do is contact a local vet for advice.

Hi Colby. They are a bit too young to bathe. But tell you what, you can get a dry powder shampoo for them, or buy a flea comb from your pet store, and comb them out.You can bathe them at 6 months.Check with shop as to suitable powder for your pups. Also wash their bedding or change. Good Luck!

yes u can bathe them, but do not use anything for fleas til they are 6 wks and even then, it may harm your puppy..Go to your local drug store and buy lice medication, just the cheap stuff, and use that on them. Dont submerge them completely under water, and keep it away from their eyes, and it works better than flea medication..Ive done it many times and it works..If you want to try something cheaper use Dawn dishliquid, it will get rid of some of the fleas but not all of them, and make sure u change their bedding and do not do the mother...She will have to wait til there no longer feeding off of her, it could kill the puppies...Good Luck...

Use a wash clothe or puppy wipes you can get from the store
You should wait till they are 8 weeks

you should also clean their area 2 times a day at least!!!!!

It becomes your responsibility to bathe them when their mother stops bathing them. This happens when they start to eat on their own and their smell changes.
