Blue ~ Anti-Poof
Green ~ De-Frizz

Here is what I do before going to bed, wihtout the honey......

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.
First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften & remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences "clean happy" conditioner.

When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo & condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

Stop letting your hair dry naturally. YOu need to use a good professional hair dryer that gets really hot. Blow it dry with a large round brush or a flat paddle brush. This is going to make the cuticle of your hair lay down flat. Which reflect the light off in the same direction which provides shiny hair!

Also, I suggest using Pureologys Super Sraight Hair System. It is great for frizzy, unruley, blah hair! I've listed the link below. You can then do a search on the Internet for the best prices or call your local professional beauty supply or salons.

On special occasions, after you have used your Pureology shampoo, conditioner and style aids, you can use a straightening iron. I suggest using a spray on heat protector (from Pureology) before you put the iron to your hair. Your hair will be stick straight and won't get frizzy througout the day (as long as you've used the PUreology products) because your hair cuticle is going to be sealed flat. Looks great but takes time to do each hair section with the straightening iron and that's why I said to use it for special occasions.

When you've been using all these heat appliances, remember to use the "NanoWorks Restorative Hair Treatment" twice a month. Follow the directions on the jar and use the comb provided in the box to comb it through once you've applied the product.

Regarding color. Color is going to swell your hair-it does all hair. If you don't need or want to go to a lighter color then you can skip using peroxide and use a semi permanent color which really only coats the hair shaft. This way you will avoid making your hair any more porus then it is naturally. If you do want to go lighter, first use the "Nanoworks Restorative Hair Treatment" for a month, each week. Getting your hair in to shape before you color it. Remember to switch your hair products- shampoo and conditioner to "Nanoworks Shampoo and Nanoworks Conditioner" or the "Super Straightening" line, all by Pureology. I'll make a bet that your hair will actually be in better condition after you've colored because you've switched to the Nanoworks products..

With hair like yours, heat is your friend. Seal those cuticles down and your hair will shine like never before and be straight all day. If you find that your hair is still a bit frizzy or it only lasts a few hours before returning to the frizzy state then you are not using a good enough hair dryer. If you haven't spent $200 to $300. on a hair dryer, then you won't have one with enough heat. Why do you think your hair always looks better when you have it done in the salon? The secret is the hair dryer and the good quality hair products. I love my "T3 Evolution Ionic Hair Dryer" but it took me years to admit that I needed to spend that kind of money on a hair dryer. My hair is the proof! I found it over $100. cheaper on amazon for you and listed the link below.

All of the olive oils and honey suggestions just put so much weight on your hair and actually weighs the hair down which is why they see a difference. Raw products such as these have too large molucules to actually penetrate the hair cuticle and can harm the hair in the long run because they actually build up on the hair and moisture can no longer get in. They work temporary at best. Sunsilk? Well, if you can't or don't want to make a investment on your hair, you have to settle for a lesser product and lesser results. I don't mean to knock anyone who likes these items. I've been doing this for 30 years and have used and tried many, many items. I wouldn't recommend a product unless I tried it and believed in it. Price? Well, usually I have found that cheaper products have cheaper ingredients and are not any where as good as a professional line. Pureology is one of the more high end lines but it is very concentrated and you use less.

I recommend CHI Silk Infusion. It's available at Salons only and is about 13.00 a bottle, but you use it sparingly and it lasts a long time. It works miracles!! CHI has lots of other products as well - all great.
Color is such a personal decision, but I have seen some black hair that looks great streaked. If you want all-over color, try having it lightened a few shades at a time until you find a shade you love. If there is a specific color you want to try, just Go for It!!

i think sunsilk works like a miracle for me, and the people i know that claim it does. for frizzy hair, you might want to try to de-frizz (green kind) shampoo, conditioner, and 24/7 creme. i'm addicted to all sunsilk products because they work so so so well! trust me. its really cheap. you can buy all three of these for like under $10. total price. also, you can skip these and just put a little bit (maybe the size of a quarter for medium length hair) of olive oil and blow dry/straighten it. hot oil treatment work good too. toeasiest way is just to use sunsilk (remember, the green kind). i hope this helps you out!!! good luck.

To tame the frizz in my hair, I use John Freida's Frizz Ease Daily Nourishment (leave-in fortifying spray.)

Sorry, I am unsure which color you should dye your hair..nothing too drastic, maybe a dark brown would look nice.

My hair is really curly and I like John Freida's Frizz Eaze. You can get it at Walmart or where ever. It's about $5. Use their whole line of shampoos, conditioner, serum (at least use this product!), and Secret Weapon (also in the Frizz Eaze line).

use hair serum from loreal or leave-in conditioner fron sunsilk after washing ur hair
or if u wanna try hair straightening by blow drying or using straightener NOT chemical relaxer
try loreal or Clairol hair dye in brown. dont go too light with ur hair coz its gonna make ur hair drier
to change ur hair style try blow-drying it and curling the tips only with hot iron curler

Sunsilk Anti-Frizz, Anti-Poof, or Hydra TLC

I think Chocolate Brown would be good, but wait for your hair to get back it's moisture.

I have the same deal with my black hair, and when I have no frizz cream around to take care of it, i use a little bit of scented hand cream.
